I liked both Phoenix Wright and Zero Escape, but I wasn't able to get into Danganronpa myself, after playing the first 2 chapters of the first game. It's not necessarily the gore in this case but just the disturbing imagery and characters. Unless someone can tell me the rest of the game is less disturbing as time goes on, I likely won't finish this, and I really hate leaving games unfinished. Zero Escape had some horror aspects too, but I was still able to enjoy that despite the horror aspects. I'm not sure I can verbalize why Danganronpa seems worse, but I just wasn't enjoying the latter. --- Congrats to azuarc for winning the guru contest. I like fighting games, both watching and playing, but I've never been great at this series (I did buy MVC2) and never really wanted to play myself. Judging by people's reactions, this seems unlikely at this point. I was banking on Galaxy 2 getting Mario nostalgia votes since it's 10 years old at this point. That said, I don't necessarily regret that pick. I'm pretty behind after the first 2 rounds, demonstrating that I'm not all that great in predicting a run of the mill bracket. I'm okay trying to bank on a reasonable crazy pick. A crazy pick that did work last contest was having Zelda go pretty far, though not nearly as far as she did go. With some past contests, rounds go so fast that it's hard to know when to vote unless you're continuously checking. I'll admit I did get to the point where I was continuously checking in the later rounds but it was nice in the earlier rounds to just participate when I felt like it.
