It was decent. Amanda Seyfried is really good in it. The story is overall pretty interesting and entertaining. I think it probably could have been a couple episodes shorter, but if youre interested, its probably worth a watch.

I understand that pandering is stupid. I have no interest in the 2016 Ghostbusters movie, for example.
But I find that there seems to be an increasing crowd of people who think that just because a movie has a female main character or person of color that makes it "woke".
I watched the new movie in the Predator franchise yesterday "Prey" and I enjoyed it. It would probably be my 3rd favorite in the franchise. There was zero "wokeness" to this movie.
In the 80s nobody said Ripley from Aliens was woke or that the movie was pandering. Prey should be no different.
I think people should try to have a more level head going into these things.

Was Canada Day recently. I hate my Country and it didn't deserve a birthday either, but I did order Mcdonald's delivery and the dude who delivered my order had 3 cheeseburgers with no pickles from customer who canceled order and he gave me that for free...who tf orders burgers with no pickles but yeah I was happy with extra food.

Ridley Scott says that term isn't canon and neither is the Alien Queen.
Then again, going by Alien Covenant we learn that Ridley Scott's ideas for the origin of the creatures suck, so hopefully he backtracks on that for the 2023 film and series

Finished Blue Sphere so I finally get to start Star Ocean 3.
Very ambitious GBC game. I spent about 40 hours playing it and had fun. I really felt for one of the characters at the end.
Final boss wasn't evil afterall and dacrificed herself to save the planet and it's inhabitants. That is some MGS3 stuff right there

No. The George Floyd incident had a strong emotional response from the public because it involved someone losing their life, and because of laws/culture that were already in place.
A law being changed is not gonna have as big of an outcry. Now, if certain horrible events happen AS A RESULT of Roe V Wade being overturned, that will have a much stronger response from protestors.
It's unfortunate, but usually it takes loss of life or multiple lives in order to be a real outcry.

I wish they would make a movie version of FF13.
I never finished the game, but from what I played the story seemed good, albeit convoluted but man the gameplay was awful.
Devs were apparently inspired by Call of Duty and that's why the game is a hallway simulator. Just awful
