I've been thinking about traditional MMORPGs lately and this popped up.
I've never played Lineage and I think starting it now wouldn't be good since last I heard, it's a microtransaction nightmare. Still the remaster looks beautiful and I'd be interested in trying it when it releases however many years from now.

PS4 Pro and Xbox Series X are both gonna be worth alot of money in the future because of the limited production and they are the best versions of those consoles to own.

I agree with you. In fact I went so far as to get backlight screen installed in my platinum GBA (Non-SP).
I will always love Mega Man Battle Network. I have fond memories of that game as a kid. Same with DBZ Legacy of Goku 2.
I started playing the first Mother game on GBA and I love the hell out of it.
I must be in a very small minority who loves GBA but hates Golden Sun.

The GBA games made me never wanna revisit the series again.
I dunno though. The criticism of the third game comes from people who loved the GBA games. Maybe that means I could like it? Or it could just mean that I'd hate it even worse.

I love turn-based games. Persona 3, Dragon Quest series, Final Fantasy series, Mother....I just disliked Golden Sun.
Maybe you all find it weird that I love Mother/Earthbound but dislike Golden Sun but it's true.

I'm not surprised. They were impressive games for the time because an RPG of that scale was practically unheard of on a handheld. When compared to RPGs across all platforms or the games people can play on portable systems now they're fine games but nothing special.

Yeah this is pretty much what I've seen many others echo as well.
After being spoiled with games like Trails in the Sky on PSP it's no wonder why I was bored with this game.

I was unimpressed tbh.
I had to pretty much force myself to play through them. That's why it took me a few months.
The only things I liked were the opening presentation to the first game, the werewolf village, and the ending to Golden Sun TLA.
Other than that, boring dialogue, uninteresting characters, finding Djinni was annoying, encounter rate was annoying.
I didn't play this in 2001, so I understand I don't get the nostalgia goggles.
I give my experience with both these games a 4.5/10.
