Edit: Also I am definitely all for operating with integrity, I merely didn't know that current ratings were in the category of "information available upon asking" as I know I have asked a couple of things privately to you that you told me you wouldn't be able to tell me as it would be an unfair competitive advantage. So I uninstalled the game a while back, when I went to reinstall the other day I didn't realize it would not save my info automatically upon the aforementioned uninstall, so my data is gone unless konami can recover it. It's asking for my duelist ID which hell if I remember that. Can anyone who would have had me as a friend on that who still has it installed maybe take a look at their friends list and give me all the info the game will give you on me? I know my name would have been emeraldegg but W/L, ID, anything would be appreciated so maybe I can get my account back.

Also if possible to post your ingame name and ID so I can give it to them as a reference so I can say "hey this person would be on my friends list"

Man, you guys have inflated values for guys rated in the 70s.

I was the one that pitched the trade and asked for a 4th. This was after I asked KCF if he thought a 3rd or 4th for a 78 CB was about right.

Also, trade value is dictated by what you can actually get on the market. Last season I shopped an 80 rated CB looking for a 2nd and got no bites. I lowered the price and even asking for a 3rd, I got no takers. So are CBs just untradeable then? Since I couldn't get a 3rd for an 80 and a 4th for a 78 is apparently too little. For the record my current best rated CB (81) is a 4th round pick.

The problem with this is that if you look around the league, a CB in the high 70s isn't actually that bad compared to most of his peers. It's not like the WR position where like every team has at least one guy rated 85+, CB is a naturally thinner position with few truly elite players at that position. At a quick glance most #1 CBs fall in between 80-85, with some teams not even having an 80 as #1 CB. So from that perspective, a 78 CB may be worth more than a 78 at another position. Like I personally feel a 3rd would be better compensation, I see where they're coming from, I just don't have an issue with it as is.

Edit: Also, I obviously can't speak one way or the other since I don't remember what it was like last year, but perhaps the climate was just unsuitable to such a trade last year as opposed to this year? When you said you got no bites, do you mean literally no one contacted you about it? If that's the case, then I'd be more likely to believe that it's not that people necessarily thought it was unfair, just that due to each teams circumstances they weren't in a good position to make such a trade.

Its 100% fair for me to keep using my trade as a reason to shut down others. It set a precedent. Since that was set do we all not have to abide by it? Or was it not a precedent and just a one time deal, and if that is the case then I don't think I really have to say anything else.

And this trade also is directly affected by the previous trade because it involves almost the exact same players and ratings. This is literally comparing apples to apples. To say it doesn't apply because of reasons is crazy talk.

Not to mention that, I personally stay out of most trades, because I don't want to sound like sour grapes. Not only do I hardly veto trades, I hardly trade at all. And to imply that I have used my vetoed trade against others is just wrong. This is the only time I have ever brought it up in regards to another users trade.

Ultimately do whatever.

Just a question, is "in reality" going to become a thing? It seems kind of a slippery slope to approach, it could lead KCF to getting all sorts of inquiries about what a player is actually rated, despite him already putting the work in to get ratings there in the first place.

That said I'm fine with the trade itself, steelers have CB depth and chiefs need a better CB.
