PFFFFFFFFFFFFffffffff hahahahahahahah "extreme cold?" lmfao i grew up in weather that was TRULY cold. we're talking -80 degrees. in -39 we would walk to school in short sleeve shirts and shorts. sometimes we'd get naked if we were playing a pick up game of football in the afternoons or on weekends. and you know what? we enjoyed it. -39 is nothing. lmfao.

Okay, that made me chuckle.

It's even up to -31 now. Basically swimsuit weather.

Currently playing Magic Arena. Will make lunch in a bit and then hit the gym. Then probably play video games most of the evening. The people I usually spend New Year's with are out of town, and I can't be bothered to plan anything else for something I don't remotely care about.

A few, in particular Fire Emblem Heroes and MTG: Arena.

I usually buy the "welcome" or intro bundles for free to play games if I like them, but typically not any more than that.

Particularly in Fire Emblem Heroes. I have no clue how people can justify spending a fuck ton of money for a random chance at heroes. 140 orbs is like $75, and I've spent 140 orbs at once (that I saved up over time) in the past and only got 2 five star units, neither of which were ones I wanted. Such a terrible return on investment.

I don't think it's cold enough to warrant an "extreme" cold warning. Currently -39 with the wind chill. This happens every year multiple times. Often for weeks straight.

Man. The burden of proof is on them. You don't even need a lawyer for this one. Easy-peasy.

Depends on the issue. In cases like this, where the defendant will obviously just say "I didn't know", the level of proof required is convincing the judge that a reasonable person would have known about it. They don't need an admission from you or hard concrete proof, just enough to pass "beyond a reasonable doubt".

And on top of that, the odds of winning a counter-suit or getting your lawyer fees back are pretty slim as they often only award that when a lawsuit is either malicious or frivolous (i.e. they knew they had no case and were wasting everyone's time). People often have this false illusion that if they win the court case they automatically get the other person to pay for their legal fees.

So basically, assuming this topic is true, he's pretty much fucked and should probably take settlement as he's not guaranteed to win the lawsuit, and even if he does it could potentially cost him even more in fees.

Yeah no. All requiring a 4.0 gpa to graduate would do is make students even more stressed out and delay their graduation, costing them even more money and time.

On top of that... Universities are a business. They need students to sign up to give them money. If things are so difficult that they are out of reach for most people, people would stop going. This would put pressure on the professors to "ease up" on marking and result in many people getting 4.0's that wouldn't have otherwise.

That would in turn make it harder to distinguish the people who would have otherwise gotten a 4.0 from everyone else, making it harder for people to distinguish themselves among their peers.

I'm reasonably certain they were cured during the ending of IV. Didn't have to wait until the After Years to see them back to normal. Edit: or apparently even before the ending. Been a while since I've played it.

For me, not sure why, but it's probably the "You're Not Alone" scene in 9 when Zidane discovers his "true identity" and goes all emo and tells everyone to buzz off. It's incredibly angsty and makes no bloody sense, but it always tugs at the heartstrings. Probably just the music. To Zanarkand does the same to me.

The bosses are indeed pretty easy. The difficulty mostly came from the barrage of random battles early on when you have minimal spell slots, no money, and limited inventory space.

It's why the Marsh Cave is considered to be one of the hardest points of the game. I still grind a bit before going there. The Ice Cave is brutal as well just because of how hard hitting everything in there is.

If they're dropping off kids they'll have the stop sign on the side of the bus extended. During that scenario you can't overtake the bus as kids have this habit of dashing out from in front of the bus and getting hit by cars who try to pass.

- 3 month suspension of your license
- $5000 fine

And to get your license back you'll need to pay a fee and take a defensive driving class at your own cost.
