Exactly, white mass murderers like Dylan Roof get a trip to Burger King by the cops.

yet pass a fake bill accidentally and you get lethal force apparently
He got lethal force because he resisted arrest. It still doesn't justify the use, but there is a big difference between a person that willingly surrenders and gets in the car and someone that is drugged out of their mind to the point that they are foaming at their mouth and escapes the car. When you put cops in awkward situations like this awkward stuff happens.

Tbh,.I don't even remember the details too thoroughly. I just remember be shocked when she was aquited, after a short deliberation none the less.

However, the standard of evidence is pretty high for a criminal trial, so even in your mind you know they are guilty you still have to prove it beyond a shadow of doubt,.so it probably was one of those guilty in the ,yeah, that is what most likely happened sense, but not in the legal sense.

I don't really think there is a correlation. I mean they aquited casey anthony with a pretty fast deliberation and she seemed guilty as sin to me. Admitatly, she was an attractive lady which helps things, whereas the same can't be said for Chauvin. But, regardless I don't think conclusions can be drawn from this either (although, I think he is going to be guilty of at least manslaughter)

It makes a good story, but it is pretty flimsy evidence, as those lyrics aren't even too specific outside of mentioning the name of one his associates. On their own they would have little value. It was more the fact the he was ratted out by members of his organization and that all his incriminating text messages where intercepted more than the song lyrics that sank him. Although, the song lyrics were a nice touch by the pros, kind of ties everything together.

Yeah, that is pretty much what happens ever since the Charlottesville. Neo nazis are pretty dumb, but even they realize that going to these things is only going to get them doxxed and beat up by antifa agents while the cops watch on.

For instance, they just had a march for white lives event recently in Santa Barbara and there was maybe 100 counter protesters and not even a single white supremacist. I wouldn't doubt it was the FBI organizing most of these as some type of honeypot, since the announcements come from nowhere and there is little popular backing or attendence for these, which you would typically expect from a grassroots movement

Also if two bidders enter the same amount tie goes to the earliest bid, so there is some advantage in addition to the simplicity of bidding early. Furthermore, if you get out bid early it is easy to move on to the next auction, instead of waiting for disappointment

im sorry to break it to ya but the game was never like this, people always compare the yugioh of the playground with the meta yugioh of today
not to say the game hasn't changed drastically in the years but a lot of the things people remember were nevet good, rituals were bad, fusions were bad, cards requiring a tribute were only playes if they had crazy effects like jinzo

I love old yugioh but everyone thinks it was dark magician and blue eyes when in reality it was envoy of the beginning and end, metamorphosis to cheat out thousand eyes, 1 of every busted spell that was limited to one copy etc.
I agree that ritual summoning is bad, but it was a lot harder to build a powerful board back then and even powerful cards like jinzo could be countered by a raigeki or a cyber jar or something. The game was built around trying to get a strong board of monsters and maintain it, since there was not a whole lot of direct damage outside of just desets, which kind of sucked . Nowadays it is just summon a bunch of powerful monsters with effects that make jinzo look like a chump in one turn and win the game on the next.

I've got a shoebox full of Yugioh cards somewhere and 80% of them are useless and 10% of what's left are extremely situational or only good if you have a deck built completely around a specific mechanic.

I'm thinking it could be fun to put together a bunch of shit decks like from Season 1, with stuff like, cards that require two sacrifices for a measly 1600/1200 split, with no bonus effect.
Yeah, yu-gi-oh is the card game with probably the most amount of power creep. It went from carefully building up your board via sacrifices or having the right cards in your hand for a ritual summon to special summoning a bunch of overpowered monsters with card effects in one turn. There is not a lot of back and forth now and it is quite possible to win in one turn. You really see the games weakness of not having a resource system that would somewhat limit the power creep. I wonder how long the game can go on for.

None of this seems to be based on fact, moreso on assumption. In fact, many famous individuals have transitioned while they are 'on top'. Caitlyn Jenner. Eddie Izzard. That's just two famous people. Do you have stats on whether or not people transition during 'lows' or 'highs'? Quite doubtful.
Bruce transitioned in his 60s years after he was relevant. He had many years to transition, but he choose to when his body was declining, the women in his life were far more relevant and he was pretty much dead in the public eye. There was not a better time to troon out and try to get one last shot at glory. I know little of Eddie, so can't say for him, but the trend I stated is more common than not in most of the cases I observed.

The guy acting like men fake transitioning so they can dominate female competition... wow that's some smoothbrain shit. Why would anyone do something like that which isn't the right thing for them instead of just training hard

It's almost like some people are trans, and some of those people enjoy sports, just like cis people
The thing I always find interesting about trans people is rarely do they transition when they are at the top. It tends to be when they get significant set backs in thier lives in which they use transitioning as a really bad coping mechanism, aka the Cosmo to Narissa model, so it tends to be the worst male athletes that transition, not the best and with thier innate male abilities they dominate women's sports (it also doesn't hurt that they choose highly physical sports like weight lifting, fighting and sprinting where men have the edge). So maybe consiously they may not plan this, but ultimately the end result is the same. A good example of this in sports is Rachael Mckinin.

mtfs are super broken at the highschool and college level since the gulf between men and women is so large at brackets and the two year prohibition from competing does not mitigate the superior gains the dude got before transitioning.

It is slightly less broken at the professional level, since everyone is taking the T anyways, so most of the women are glorified transexuals themselves ( I mean, look at Chris Cyborg for crying out loud), but even then they still are able to out compete most natural women. Pretty much why everyone hates them, they can't compete against the dudes, so the lop off thier weenie and now f with the women's brackets. There is very little honor in thier victories.

It will be hard to ever prove murder. Floyd was absolutely tripping balls when getting arrested and was resisting arrest. The police did not even initially attend to utilize a chokehold until Floyd crawled his way out of the police car after resisting arrest repeatedly and the initial application seem reasonable given the circumstances. With this it would be hard to prove that Chauvin came into the engagement initially trying to kill Floyd.

However, it does seem like manslaughter will be reasonable because he should've let the chokehold off when the body went limp as you are trained to to but it will be hard to prove that this was anything but a misjudgment in the heat of moment given a resisting, drug addled perp and a crowd that was continuously jeering at him (rightfully so, but pride enters the picture and emotion will get the best of you). Plus he went from normal to dead pretty fast. Video for reference.

And let's face it, the education at universities is not that great anyways. You are pretty much reading from the book yourself anyways and the professors care much more about research than teaching the class. Teaching is mostly a side hustle for them, so you get a bunch of lazy power point reading most of the time from them.

There is a looooot of things between your points that the prosecution has to prove. I agree the cop should be charged but it's not nearly as straightforward as it should be.
Agreed. You are allowed to use knee on neck holds in Minnesota. Furthermore, Floyd was evidently resisting arrest, so it could be possibly justified to use such a hold to subdue him, although it does seem a bit excessive. Furthermore, he had drugs in his system at the time, which while was not declared the way he died, could have been a contributing factor in his death and made him hard to deal with bolstering the resisting the arrest case.

I think it will be hard to prove murder, but a think you can prove manslaughter, since while perhaps the knee on neck could be justified it did seem to last way too long. They easily could've cuffed him and went. But we will see.

It is a shameless copy of Chic Fil a's sandwich right down to the wrapper. But if this what it took for McD to actually increase its quality of food, then fine by me.
That was what I figured. I mean, they even stole the advertising from chic fil a with the whole misspelling of chicken. Although no one believes even remotely that mcdonald's is putting the time and effort to make a quality product like chick-fil-a does, so it rings a bit hollow.

I was just surprised how nonchalant this operation was. I mean, given it's importantance to global trade I was expecting fricken helicopters transporting heavy machinery, an army of hi fi vests and hard hats, generals on tv with detailed plans of action, but nope we will just have one lone exavator and a dog dig the boat out. It took fricken six days to move the boat out. Jeeze, I know road crews that work with more urgency.
