Sorry for the late reply. Though I'm pretty sure multiplayer always had to be played either within wireless range of another PSP or on some type of private server.

And if there is an online community for it, they're probably all godlike by this point.

As another user pointed out. Entertainment value per dollar is great in most cases.
Especially in current times because you can literally know exactly what you're getting before you buy it.

Let's say you put in 120 well enjoyed hours on Breath of the Wild. At full price, that's 50 cents per hour.

I'd say that's especially cheap. Again, there's also the fact that you're not gambling on your purchase. Back then, you had to spend 2 or 3 dollars to rent it for a night (2 if you got it on a saturday) just to try a game out, and that's if someone else didn't already rent it first.
You'd get a couple screenshots in a magazine, or MAAAYBE a commercial in very rare cases, and they didn't always show gameplay footage either. Not that they do nowadays, but the difference is youtube.

So yeah, I'm gonna say it's cheap. Unless you literally buy every game that comes out.

Considering inflation, games are actually significantly cheaper than they used to be.
Take Chrono Trigger for example, which was $80 when it first came out in 1995.
That's roughly equivalent to $130 dollars today.
Don't get me wrong, a lot of games at that time were probably closer to $50 but RPGs were almost always $20-$30 dollars more expensive.
But still, even the $50 dollar games were more like $80 today.

So I'd say...yeah, games are cheap. Especially if you buy them on sale, pre-owned, or a little while after they've released.

Also gotta factor in that they were a lot harder to find back then, too. We didn't have gamestops and such back then. You could go to toys'r'us or walmart or whatever and just hoped they had what you were looking for. If you even knew what you were looking for that is. You couldn't just go to youtube and watch a gameplay video either. You got a few pictures on the back of the box (if the store employee would open the case for you), or maybe in a Nintendo Power magazine, back when the subscription was worth having.

Buying new games was kind of a gamble back then. You could get something truly great like secret of mana or super metroid, but on the other hand, you could wind up shelling out $40-$50 for Plok and regretting your purchase terribly.

Except the games all have common grounds. Chocobos, moogles, magic, espers/eidolons/phantom beasts, gilgamesh in a lot of cases, typically the crystals, and an overall fantasy theme.

The only thing Spirits Within had was Cid. It could have literally been called anything else and nobody would have ever made the connection to Final Fantasy.

If you called a Final Fantasy game (yes, to a degree even FF13 and 15) anything else people would say "hey, this is a lot like Final Fantasy!"

The point is, it didn't have to have any direct connection to any particular FF game. But it should have at least resembled Final Fantasy in some way.

Yeah, it was basically a project where square was trying to create a virtual movie star. They tacked on the name Final Fantasy and made a character named Cid. It bombed and so that was the end of it.

But other than that, Mead's right. It has nothing to do with Final Fantasy.

I'd say if you can find it for $10 or less, then go for it. But paying anything more than that might leave you sorely disappointed.

Yeah, I'm gonna call fair here.
Maybe she didn't know about the shootings, and maybe had she known she probably wouldn't have started the chase and subsequent ramming of the police vehicle. And maybe she would have walked away with her life.

I know if I'm hunting for a white car suspected of triple murder/homicide, and a white car rams into my cruiser, I'm not going to take any chances. If they WERE in fact the shooters, it would have only taken them a second to pull a gun and open fire on the officers.

I don't know about you folks here who are defending these women, but you must not value your own lives very much. Just put yourself in their situation and ask yourself if it would have played out much differently.

Depends on how many hours per day you typically spend playing games, and if you're going to 100% these games or just beat the story.

I am very pro-guns. But I'm very anti-stupidity.
They should definitely be charged.
Having said that, I also think it's really dumb that you should have to store your gun and ammo in different locked containers.

The only way to truly be legitimate is to play the cartridge on actual hardware.

Having said that, I am in no way against emulation. Official or not.
SNES classic is no different than a Raspberry Pi with retroarch.
And if I'm being completely honest. Aside from supporting Nintendo, I think the RPi with retroarch is the superior option here.
