3DS was way more popular than N64 and especially gamecube, PM64 and TTYD had the highest attach rate (copies sold compared to systems sold), Sticker Star was easily accessible, and it was ending a long drought of Paper Mario and no one at the time knew that they turned Paper Mario into dogshit.
