Getting a key and then being chased by a Phanto until you reach a door is so annoying Lift the key to activate the Phanto, get out of the key room, then throw it down and wait. The longer you leave the key alone, the longer it takes for the Phanto to return. If the Phanto is such a hassle, leave the key alone for like a minute, then pick it up and dash for the door. The authorities coddled him, as can be implied from releasing him after barely 9 months out of a 5-year sentence(which itself makes little sense. 5 years for instigating insurrection?). He used that time very productively towards organizing his Nazis and re-strategizing on how to take over the country, fine prison sentence indeed. It actually helped his political career immensely. Come to think of it, that means that matchups with lousy Seekers on both teams would be a boon to both teams if leagues truly run on cumulative points to determine the final winner instead of win-loss record. Have the Chasers on each team run up the score while the two incompetents do their own thing and search around blindly. A couple weeks later, when one of them finally finds the Snitch after the darn thing flies into his open mouth by accident(like Harry's second match!), both teams leave happy with a million points each and sitting on the top two spots of the scorecard. There are instructions on the right of it, sure. A fat lot of good that does for my used-to-modern-maps eyes. Can't even begin to understand the thing apart from the 'shells are islands' bit. The kicker is that these things... actually worked. These people actually used these crude things to accurately map out the wide ocean and to move between islands as they willed. With no other pointer, landmark, etc. to guide them, just open water in every direction as far as the eye can see. Just by being practically usable, it beats the hell out of that ridiculous nonsense that drew mermaids in the ocean and fountain-turtles where China ought to be, and shows that these guys must've been badasses with balls of steel to get around the ocean only armed with something like that. --- Link meets Fire Emblem in CYOA: Tales of Elibe! So if you're having a bad game you'd want to catch the snitch to shut it down even if it means you'll lose that specific game. Where was this addressed? It's kind of implied in the inter-house matches in Hogwarts, sure, but I don't recall any mention that this extends to professional leagues. Is it in one of the myriad of supplementary books? Thought it was a pretty ballsy move to deal with Carrie Fisher's death, but OK, I'll accept it! Then she's doing bull**** space magic and survives. My 63-year-old mother was with me at the theater. She's been a fan of the franchise since ANH first came out. She's a casual fan too, so don't think she's some super-nerd into this stuff. Her standards aren't high, either. She enjoyed AotC very much and I distinctly remember her being moved to tears while watching RotS several times. She told me, out loud, "Oh my god, this is one of the stupidest things I've ever watched in a theater." and I could do nothing but nod and shrug. We didn't watch the ninth movie in a theater. Only problem was that you got it when you beat the last secret extra boss(whose lair you could only access once you beat the final boss). So by the time you got it, there were no bosses to use it on. Except reruns against the final boss, whom you'd already be curbstomping while fighting naked if you leveled up enough to even beat the secret extra boss in the first place. For one thing, I have no idea how you would properly translate the eleventh Labour, the Golden Apples of Hesperides, into a video game and make it be interesting. How is Hercules holding the Heavens in Atlas' stead going to be handled? The only thing I could think of would be a series of QTEs/button inputs with more than a few failures being instant Game Overs, and that can't be fun in any possible metric. Same goes for the sixth Labour(or was it fifth?), the Augean Stables. How are you going to depict changing a river's course in a video game? Sudden genre-change into something Sim City-esque? Just have him move and break blocks or whatever? At least the rest of the Labours have a major 'adversary', or at least a bunch of conflict(e.g. the ninth Labour, where Hercules massacres a bunch of Amazons at the end) to focus on for a game. --- Link meets Fire Emblem in CYOA: Tales of Elibe! It's criminal that Austin/Booker never had a PPV match together. They should have fit the match into the Royal Rumble PPV which was coming up at the time, as one of the opening matches with the No. 30 spot on the Rumble on the line or something. Instead, they just had both guys participate in the Rumble and the feud was quickly dropped in favor of the returning nWo storyline.
