There were a lot of great GBA games. There is a reason that many consider it the best handheld of all time, unless you want to say its the DS because of backwards compatibility I have a feeling the Top 10 games for each user may be pretty darn different from each other outside of a few games.

Customizing and playing with Emerl kept me entertained for longer than it probably should have

I remember there was some battles where you had to fight Emerl as a different character, and he would usually take on the moveset and skills you had set for him. So you could either remove his skills before the fight and make it super easy, or you could equip him with a bunch of good ones to give yourself an extra challenge. It was really interesting both playing as him and against him.

Anyone who puts Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire over Emerald either never played Emerald or has absolutely shit taste. There is quite literally nothing that R/S did that Emerald didn't do as good or much better.

I didn't really like the Game Boy Advance Pokemon games. I had Ruby, but it didn't like the layout of Hoenn. Preferred FRLG.
