Okay. This is a tough one to place.

Technically it started in the late 50's, as an 'answer song's to Bo diddly's 'I'm a man'.

The song was forged and reforged throughout the sixties with back and forth answers and calls between blues musicians.

Culminating in its ultimate form... released in the 70's Album, Hard Again. With the finalized blues standard recognizable as the source of many rock and metal epics were derived from.

So I figure I'll split the difference between the 50's and 70's, and put it in the decade it was slowly built and put together in.

It's no different odds than any other set of combinations happening.

The "gamblers fallacy" is when people infer incorrect odds out of patterns. Like if they've watched a blackjack wheel land eight blacks in a row then they lay in with a large bet on red because it "must be due". Any individual spin has the same original odds completely independent of the previous spins.

Except these odds arent independent. It's only independent for the person who draws first. Every other players odds are dependent on the draws that came before them.

However here we have four people drawing cards, so the probablitity changes after each person has their turn.

From 25%, to 25% 0 chance vs 1/3 chance, to 50% 0 chance vs 50% chance, to 75% 0 chance vs 100% win.

And then they have to win this 4 times in a row, the person who goes first is going to have different odds than the person who went second... and if they switched draw order.....
