I charge my tenant living in the basement $1100 a month all inclusive. I got a roommate now for short term paying me $750 a month straight cash. I make close to $20 hourly. Not to mention I pay child support and have 50/50 custody of my kids. Yeah...it's not hard if you stick to a budget. And no I don't eat ramen noodles every night.
