The distributor/retailer breaks streetdate and now somehow the consumer is on the hook for a "crime" they did not actually commit themselves?

The crime is playing the game before it is supposed to be released.

I can see the case in where something is wrongly acquired, but if the product is sent out early by the distributor and the retailer, how is the consumer at fault for receiving it (too) early?

Because

The owner of the copyright has the sole ability to decide how, when, and if someone has the right to use their product.

But given the difficulty of tracking down the number of consumers who violated the copyright, and levying what would likely be minor charges against them, it almost never happens.

If anything, it is a contract between a distributor and a retailer.

Receiving or buying early as a consumer is just a bit of luck and I cannot see why a country's law would punish you for that.
That is not how copyright works at all. The owner of the copyright has the sole ability to decide how, when, and if someone has the right to use their product. If the owner of the copyright doesn't want you distributing a game until a certain date, and you do it anyway, that is a breach of the copyright.

Same goes for the consumer, but it rarely is worth the legal trouble to go after them unless in extreme circumstances.

Street dates are legally enforceable now?
Yea, that is basic copyright law.

He started having a relationship with her when he was 15, and married her at 18 after she left her husband.

I've told countless men this fact. Can you guess what their responses were?

According to Wikipedia, they didn't marry until he was 30 and she was 55. Still weird, but not nearly as bad as you are making it out to be:

TopicWhy do people pick shitty degrees in college?

Given the ease at which information can be obtained nowadays and the relative laziness of a lot of professors (also the fact that most of them are working on a PHD while trying to "teach" at the same time), I would argue college needs a serious overhaul. For example, any class where you sit in a lecture hall for 3 days a week, and your grade is determined only by 2-3 tests, should probably be online only, with PDF study materials, and cost next to nothing. Most "IT" degrees should also likely be online only given that there is absolutely no reason a tech focused worker should ever have to work in an office. Also would mean students could live at home the first couple of years of college, which would greatly reduce the amount of debt they accumulate since most of the cost is dorms/apartments. Hell, take the savings and give all the students 5G enabled laptops instead, now they don't even need home Internet, or going to their local library.

Probably still need traditional college for most SEM (STEM minus the "T") classes, but still.

That's Maury Povich. Springer was the "I'm cheating on you with your brother!" guy.

One of the shows I always watched when I was home "sick" from school. Amazing that it lasted until 2018, I stopped watching in the early 2000's.

Wasn't into him as far as entertainment goes, but he was a legend. Who doesn't hear his voice when saying "what's up with airline food?"?
legend for sure. I didn't know he was that old, i thought he was still in his 60s

Jerry Springer, not Jerry Seinfeld.

The only time I really use a VPN is for work, basically I need to be on it in order to access work sites. I never considered it "secure" for me, it is just about being secure for the company that I am working for.

The only way you are really going to have personal security when browsing the Internet is using an overlay network. However, even several of the servers in that network are owned by the FBI so you are still going to be trackable by the "government" if you are really worried about that.

816 on Experian and TransUnion, 815 on Equifax. Probably going to go down quite a bit once I pay off my mortgage in a couple months.
