I havent played a PS5 but that is a much greater leap. The graphical leap is significant but the SSD leap from a regular HD is one of the biggest tech leaps we have had since the PS1 to PS2 IMO.

EDIT: Also, frame rate increases are much more important to me than minor graphical improvements

EDIT 2: Question. Does the PS4 Pro still count as a PS4? If so, that does make things much harder

She says her well adjusted teen daughter was just fine until the mom caved and bought her a smartphone for her 14th birthday so she could talk to her friends during the pandemic

I think this line might be the real issue that is being avoided tbh. People always want to blame social media, video games, etc for these kind of problems when it could be something else. Maybe she was going through major depression during the pandemic and lockdowns? Not everyone can handle that well.

Im also sure the conversation went like this: You are spending too much time on your phone. Im taking it away. Not asking any real questions and not trying to understand your child. That happens far too often

you should def be taking some days off every once in a while! Thats a ton of days. Damn.

just take 3 days off then and enjoy the vacations :)

Yea people use to tell me to take some time off but my job doesnt have enough people so doing it now isnt ideal.

As for the second part, I dont think Ive ever taken off 3 days in a row before so it will be very unusual for me and they wouldnt want me to do it. Hell, I had covid on my days off and they tried to get me to come to work on my scheduled day so bad but I called out because I wasnt feeling well still. (It was technically the end of my 5 day quarantine) They panicked like hell when I took
that one day off. I went to work the next day still sick but they told me to come as long as I didnt have a fever. They didnt even want to test me again to make sure I was negative.

I work at a hospital BTW

When you are off your 7 days.. how do you go about adjusting your sleep schedule? Do you bother even adjusting it? Ive been doing his for about half a year. Im currently considering keeping my work sleep schedule everyday including off days but Im not sure if that is a good idea. That would mean I would go to be between 7-9am and wake up between 4-7pm.

I try to adjust my sleep schedule during my off week but I end up just taking a bunch of naps during my 7 days off. I never sleep 8 hours during that time. That might be the better option than practically never seeing daylight during winter though.

Call of Duty has a very heavy shill population, that will buy and play those games year after year without any concern for the quality, kind of like Pokemon. CoD will always have a high online population, that's why they continue to release mediocre games that sell.

Old Call of Duty games usually have less than 10 thousand people playing when it gets to older than 5 years. Its always been like that. Battlefield 2042 should have 5x as much at this point in its life cycle

I know Ive been making topics about this game lately but its so frustrating. A 6 year old CoD game (that I personally think was very well made) that has jet packs, wall riding and some of the worst Lootboxes ever, which all the about the community flamed game for, somehow has a higher player count than a 2 month old Battlefield game. Shit. I hate it.

This was suppose to be THE Battlefield game. I was so hype for it. The trailer made it look like they knew what we wanted. Instead we got this shit show that is so bad that it will go free to play soon. Ive never been more disappointed with a purchase in my 32 years of life on this planet.
