| Delirious_Beard 12/20/19 6:19:05 AM #28 | i really don't know what a lot of "fans" wanted or expected to happen with Luke's character the stuff with Finn and Rose i really don't have any intention of defending, but Luke's characterization (and Hamill's performance) are probably the highlight of the sequel trilogy the worst thing about the sequels (and something JJ helped initiate) is just how uninteresting the universe is. even the fucking prequels had some interesting world building and potential to be fleshed out. The filmmaking craft on display here is not extraordinary which makes me inclined to believe most people are judging this film based on its themes. Now that I've said that, on to the important part.
