Update:
He is alive, no paralyzis yet, left side of body feels tingly. He is awake.

3 neck vertebra very broken. He is getting surgery on monday Not allowed to move neck at all. In the ICU.

He fell 10 meters. Then got lucky to hit a large branch with his thigh that broke his fall a bit, then fell 3 meters down on his neck.

Given the circumstances and what it sounds like, that's probably the best possible news. Sounds like he has some compression of the spinal cord or nerve roots, which means they'll be putting him on high-potency steroids like dexamethasone to decrease inflammation.

NVIDIA had just released a $649 GPU, and a few weeks later ATI released the $199 4850 which pretty much matched it in performance, the $299 4870 which exceeded it and the $399 4850 X2 which absolutely obliterated it.

Every time I come home he immediately hops up and comes to me in his cage. I open the cage door and he runs upy arm and sits on my shoulder, then licks my ear. When I sit down, he likes to have his tummy rubbed and will start bruxxing his teeth (basically the rat equivalent of purring)

Also, he knows his name and will come when called for.

Odyssey definitely felt like a game made for DLC. You could easily tack on entire worlds for 5-10 bucks each.

When you have money you'd like to have a something really cool, it's not a big deal.

It's when you deliberately go around flaunting it left and right irresponsibly that it becomes a real issue.

I bought/upgraded this laptop just to have "the best" that literally exists, for once. Yes, it was pricey and probably not worth it, but it's fun to think that I earned it after over a decade of hard work.

You'll get done super sampling and a handful of higher fidelity options. Also a chance there will be a 60fps 1080p mode.

Quite a few games give the option for 60fps 1080p, which is nice. I even choose that option on my 4K TV.
