It was clear pretty early on that the creators were advocating what was essentially Libertarianism or Anarcho-Capitalism, both of which are right-wing ideologies. Almost every villain in Legend of Korra was obviously a representative of some variation of Socialist, Communist, or Anarchist. The only two exceptions being the Earth Queen, who was a Monarchist (a right-wing ideology), and Kuvira, who was an imperialist (an ideology that can be either right or left, depending on other factors which the show didn't explore). The villains in season one were literally called the "Equalists," for crying out loud! It doesn't get much more obvious than that. In one episode, the evil girl summoned a demon into the mortal realm, and what made this demon unique is that it would develop a boundless appetite for whatever it first ate upon entering our plane of existence. The evil girl had brought along a bag of human blood which she had stolen from the local blood bank with the intention of feeding it to the demon, thus creating an unstoppable bloodthirsty monster, which she then intended to let loose upon the city. However, when the demon was summoned, the good girl happened to talk to it first, and she tried to befriend the demon, giving it a sugar cookie as a token of goodwill, which it ate immediately. Horrified, the evil girl tried to feed the bag of human blood to the demon, but it was too late. Its diet had already been set, and it now possessed an insatiable appetite for one thing and one thing only... sugar cookies. That was just one episode, though.
