Trump is a compulsive liar. But he usually lies about things that, I guess, don't really matter much. Things like, "Over 69 billion Americans hate Obama." Usually they are really obvious, exaggerated, or simply false claims. And I think most of the time he only half believes himself.

Trump talks out of his ass all the time and everyone knows it, even himself, but he doesn't care.

I know, it's crazy.

I don't reply to links that lead to CNN.

You won't take hardcore right websites, I don't take hardcore left.

Bye bye.

I'm open to right wing media. It's not the brand I smoke, true, but I look in on it sometimes, because I know cnn blows shit out of proportion. But that's just the difference between us. Either way, it may be a cnn link, but that's exactly what happened. There's video of the briefing right there for everyone to look at. In this particular case, it just happens to be linked via cnn, but I imagine Fox is saying something on this too. A number of people on Fox News have called Trump out before. I'm not against them per se.

That's what Sarah Hucabee Sanders said today responding to Trump Jr's dictated response that President Trump has been lying about every this comes up. Does she know that she is lying on purpose? It's obvious. I mean, it's ok to be a Trump supporter, that's just a matter of politics. But if you say he ain't a liar, that's a running lie like a running joke.

Would you say that Trump is a liar?

http://www.cnn.com/2017/08/01/politics/trump-latest/index.html

"Trump "weighed in" on Trump Jr.'s statement as "any father would do," White House says
The Washington Post reported that President Trump helped craft that misleading statement about his son's meeting with a Russian lawyer to the New York Times.

Asked about that today, Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that statement was not "misleading" and that "there is no inaccuracy in the statement." She said Democrats wanted to use it as a "PR stunt."

She added that President Trump did weigh in on the statement, as "any father would do."

"White House says Trump is "truthful and transparent" every day
When asked about a possible "trust deficit," Press Secretary Sanders said Trump is "truthful and transparent" every day.

"There seems to be a trust deficit that is being created with some on Capitol Hill," a reporter said.

She then read part of a Today show interview with Sen. Lindsey Graham, in which the senator said he was bothered "a lot" by a new Washington Post report that Trump came up with that misleading statement about his son's meeting with a Russian lawyer.

"Is this what is hurting the President's legislative agenda — this credibility issue on the Hill?" the reporter asked.

Huckabee said "Congress's inability to get things passed" is what's hurting Trump's agenda. She then added that Trump has been "truthful and transparent" every single day.""

I don't know what to say about The Simpsons. I read all the comments here and all I can think of is that you're all right. It still cranks out many good-to-great episodes, the appeal has worn off, it still makes money, we still enjoy it, but we love to hate on it because it has earned it in a number of ways or seasons. It's been on too long and we're afraid to cancel it. I've been a fan since 1989. I was in junior high when the shit first came on The Tracy Ulman Show. So, my biggest question has been for a number of years now, how should it end? And I don't know the answer to that either. But, ya know, these folks are getting older, more people will naturally die off, and all they need is for one big character to die in real life and the house of cards will fall down.

TV, we dream in color because of it

I like the way you put that.

People dreamed in color before television existed. The advent of black and white television made it more likely that you dreamed in monochrome, but people still did dream in color even back then. While yes, color TV began making people more likely to dream in color again, I'd say the real totally overall effect would be to say that "People dreamed in black and white for a while because of television."

The impact of the color of your dreams at night is debatable.

It's poetic, not scientific.

That's hard to say.

I enjoyed it, but it's unlike any war film I've seen. The film doesn't explain anything to the audience, nor is there any exposition in the dialogue. The audience is simply a fly on the wall watching people try to survive.

Some people are going to think it's a masterpiece. Some are gonna leave disappointed or confused.

So it basically makes the audience presume what the plot is?

I feel like they can be almost neck and neck. TV and Radio are still more ubiquitous than the internet, believe it or not. But in places where people do use the internet heavily, things get pretty insane when you look at how they use it.

The thing about the internet though is that it is interactive. It can be far more engaging. And many more jobs rely on it. Outside of the entertainment industry, i tcant think of many jobs that require you to watch television. But the internet is a central part of some jobs, the way the telephone used to be for others. Its needed for school, work and information sharing in many fields.

TV was a game changer to be sure. But mostly for entertainment purposes. The internet changed the way a lot of businesses work. The internet changed how we interact with the world around us, and connected the entire planet to a scentral network were we can-

HOLY SHIT, WE'RE IN THE MATRIX!!!!

I think you're right and is still a lingering question. I'm glad you mentioned radio because I was thinking about that too. Radio is like the precursor to TV and the net. Internet is more interactive. But if not for TV, no internet. Also too though, TV changed the way everyone looked at the world, and then in turn changed everyone's behavior. It was called an electronic babysitter in a negative way because that's exactly what it could do. It made people super stars unlike we've seen before. I mean, if you go back and look at the history of acting, actors used to have a bad rep and got paid practically nothing. It's still hard to be an actor, it's not the most respected profession, but TV made these folks superstars. TV made games and home video possible. Tough choice on discerning the greater impact.

Long story short, unless you are doing it in New York, the pay actually sucks. At tax time you can only deduct the mileage. Factor in vehicle depreciation and you can actually end up losing money. I wouldn't recommend it unless you can be certain that you will make money from it or you're just really desperate, which I understand.
