The most I could see happening in that regard is the CoD games being put on Game Pass a couple months after launch to revitalize the player base and get more players on the Xbox/PC side without totally cutting off PS players. Swagger has 15 normally, Leech Seed and Recover have 10. But I think the Battle Tower Pokemon might have max PP, so it would be 24-16-16 instead of 15-10-10. After Mamoswine went down due to confusion damage, it got to the point where I had to just keep switching between my Rotom and Azelf over and over, not using any moves, until the Cradily eventually ran out of uses of Leech Seed, Swagger, and Recover. I still managed to win and keep my BT streak alive (this was battle #41) but this single battle against this single Pokemon took a whole entire hour for me to win. Duck is an absolute tank who's literally won multiple fights with the "ram your face into the fist until the fist breaks" tactic in past seasons. But if the opponent's weapon/bot doesn't break on its own, then it really can't do much back and will just lose the judge's decision. It's a constant stream of revenue and all they ever need to do is produce the occasional lootboxes and P2P items, sit back and make a s*** load of cash They want Warzone to bring people into the franchise, and then they want those players to buy the mainline games as an easier way to unlock and level up guns for Warzone. The focus being on Warzone is the biggest reason why the last three mainline CoD games have been between mediocre and just plain fucking awful, and the rushed development because they refuse to go a year without a new CoD game is the second-biggest reason. This year, it's finally biting them in the ass like never before, because Warzone and all three recent mainline CoD games are all in varying states of fucked up, and the player base is just pissed off all around. The only positive developments in CoD's standard multiplayer over the past three years are all of the post-launch content (maps and base weapons) being free for everyone and the removal of supply drops in favor of a storefront where you know what cosmetic items you're getting for your money.
