Because we're not here to "police the boards" so to speak. If you believe something is against the tos, mark it and a moderator will review it.

Garleans will not ever be playable, under any circumstance, whatsoever. That's because of the fact that Garleans are unable to use magic, which would therefore make so many things plainly impossible.

Was thinking of starting with Gladiator.

The actual game is much better than the trial(because the trial prohibits the usage of certain features), and it really picks up...right about after the trial.
Also, make a character on Cactuar if you want to play with a lot of us.

Tried that earlier. Worked for 2 FATEs, the 3rd was in some ass backwards boonies place that was stupid crazy to get to and the high levels killed it before anyone else had a chance to even get there.

Because my main is in a good place on Sarg? Look I have almost 4000 hours in the game I already rebooted once.

I mean, I'm just saying that it would be a lot cheaper/more efficient, since due to the cross-world PF, being on Sarg/Gilg doesn't mean what it used to. Unless you're part of a FC you enjoy. We'd more than welcome you on Cactuar either way though.

leveling is easy, skip story, the level 50 quests can go F*** off, so boring, tedious and more drawn out then needs to be.

or just not play at all, are you returning and starting anew? If you played ffxiv before I do not recommend coming back, I would go to ffxi or wow, since FFXIV all it does is copy/paste/reskin its content.

Please do not post in the thread if you're just going to tell people to not play and annoy others.

Sadly, I'm going to put that dream to death right now and tell you that's not going to happen - when the alternative offers literally no downside in any way, shape, or form, and is always and tremendously faster, and easier, no matter what, people won't do it synced. That's not even then getting into the whole issue of people actually having to learn and then do the mechanics.I mean, eventually down the line, maybe you could find a group of people willing to do older content synced, but that's pretty exceedingly rare, to be honest.

No, you do not need to start over.
All Jobs(Paladin,Dragoon,Monk,etc), start at either 30, or 50(SAM,RDM). You do not have to level them back up from 1-30. Note that you aren't actually levelling the Job, but the class. This is a very important distinction to make, because of Arcanist and its two branches. Since you gain class experience, and not job experience, it's how both SMN and SCH level simultaneously.

3.0 has my favorite fights of FF14 so far by average. Nidhogg, Thordan, Sephirot EX and Alexander Prime are ridiculous fun.
4.0 technically has my most favorite two fights, but they're based on 2.0 fights, so they don't count.
