My co-op buddy and I never bothered with any of the crafting and stuff, so it never felt tedious. We had a blast.
I hope we somehow find the time to play the second one together again!

Good job taking out some of the NFEs, guys!

Only 31 votes cast last round. Some people clearly forgot to vote and that's probably why we lost Woobat and Sewaddle. We normally average around 40 votes, don't we? 31 votes feels kind of small.

Yeah, I forgot about it yesterday, would have voted for Woobat.

I've read some compelling arguments that NK will be the end boss, and Cersei and King's Landing/the rest of Westeros like Saruman and the Shire. Apparently GRRM really liked that part from lotr.

The chains were already there, there's a pontoon (errrr, crossing, some kind of ferry on a chain like in lotr when the wraith is chasing the Hobbits) on the lake.

And the one wight not falling apart makes perfect sense for the scouting party. You don't want all of your scouts immediately dying if someone kills the WW. So you keep one wight of your own (raised by the night king) to keep tabs on the scouting party and know where the enemy is.

While I share the complaints about some of the pacing (they should have made it more clear how much time was passing), it's not that important.

What I don't get is why people are complaining about Arya. She has always been like that, she really isn't that clever, and is a total sociopath to booth. Not that the Winterfell scenes are great or anything (my least favorite part of the season).

Also, the NK definitely knew what was going to happen, it was a trap. They could have easily killed all of them, but they waited until the dragons were nearby. And he probably threw the javalin at Viserion first because he still had the element of surprise. If he attacked Drogon first, the other two would have flown away. This way he could at least try to hit a second one.

What the hell..the pacing..what
I don't want a "Arya spending 2 seasons in Braavos" kind of pacing, but this was insane
Jon got from the North to the South in 3 scenes? will he also get back to Winterfell before Arya reach it?
Euron navy is actually everywhere whenever it's needed?

I really don't want to complain about pacing considered we are now...10 episodes from the end of show..but still, it feels weird now
Taking Casterly Rock could have been a 15 minutes scene
Taking Highgarden could have been a 20 minutes scene

But..well..

There's no point in having Jon travelling for 3 episodes before he gets to Dragonstone, there's no point to having people say: "Yep, the unsullied are still sailing to the Rock, just as they were 4 episodes ago. Oh and where could that dastardly Euron be hanging around? Wink wink, nudge nudge!"
S7 started with all of the remaining pieces in position for the final stretch and all of them need some form of closure. They have been going at it at a good pace, and some might find it too fast for their liking, but I'd rather not have 'filler' just to add some run time.

Also, you can only have so many battles before they start getting boring. It's a safe bet that there will be more to come this season, which will end up being more important.

Highgarden being conquered this easily does suck, but I can chalk it up to the Tarly betrayal and taking a lot of the bannermen with them.

so who do you guys think azor ahai is

i think it's davos seaworth

who will win the game of thrones

I'm still hoping jaime ends up being azor ahai , he seems to be the prime candidate if you believe that the prophecy will happen again in a similar way (rebirth, nissa nissa). Though I doubt that it'll actually go that way. I just hope they give him more character development!

But it's going to be Jon.

Winner of the game will be Dany, but it's going to cost her a lot.
Euron seems set to actually capture a dragon, jorah will try to heroically save her (maybe unleashing a plague in the meantime), he'll fail for once, etc.

I actually bought something this sale: FFX HD (and FFX-2 I guess as well). Played it for a little bit. Don't know if it was my TV back then, or the polish of this version, but I noticed a lot now that I couldn't even see before. the airship, birds, some stuff in the ruins probably a combination of both.

Both Orisa and Sombra can be amazing. Orisa does tend to need a lot of healing, especially if the other team communicates and tries to take her down together.
The problem with Sombra is that most people just don't know how to play her. I've been in some matches were someone competent was, playing as her, and actually communicated what they were doing. It usually resulted in one team completely wrecking the other team.
That said, I don't have much practice with her, so I wouldn't fare any better than the average player.

S4 got pretty good a few episodes in, as more and more connections were made to the earlier episodes. That said, I hope they go for the more traditional format of the first three seasons.

I do think however that arrested development hasn't aged that well, but I might have watched it one too many times.

Most animals roll around, the smaller ones (bugs, etc.) skitter around or glide. Objects tend to glide, but some of them roll as well.

It's definitely not for everyone though, if you didn't like the trailers, you won't like the game.

Bought it earlier today and have been wandering for a good few hours. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised at hearing Alan Watts in the game as well. (Not a big spoiler.) I think it's got game enough in it, akin to something like Proteus or Dear Esther. The soundtrack is beautiful as well.

I spend a good amount of time being a bunch of bees, sadly I couldn't fly up to my perk of sunflowers that I had created moments earlier. I guess I was too small too cross the distance. Been taking a lot of screenshots, it has been a long time since I've actually bothered in a game.

Laughed a lot as well, a lot of things are mundane objects, but it feels so ridiculous to become them (in a good way).

Anyone else playing it?

Base salary/pay is what you make before anything is taken out. So pre-tax, 401k, your share of health insurance, etc.

Ah, alright, thanks for the clarification! In my country, in the rare event that someone breaks the social 'taboo' of not talking about salary/money, we always talk about the net amount you receive (so after all of the taxes).

Stone Age is great! It was one of the first games I bought and I loved it. After a while I started to fear that it might get replaced as I was getting into more complicated games, but Stone Age still manages to keep me entertained after all this time. It being a (relatively) short game helps as well.

What do you think of the expansion? I've only played once with it so far and I had a fun time with it.

It has quickly become a favorite at my place, and it works really well, and differently, with 2-4 players. I don't think I'll forget the evening when we played it five times in a row because one of my friends desperately wanted to win a game of Splendor for once. she didn't
