It's actually really, really good at first. But boy, does that last hour DRAAAAAG. When I EVENTUALLY took the bastard down, I was like "Fucking finally!" and not excited at all. It would have been way better if there had been fewer convenient excuses for why we can't just arrest him. Especially given how it's so obvious that he's the Big Bad once he changes form. Same is true for 2-4, of course, but that one has actual STAKES after that. This one is just "Can I bring this asshole down already? Please? Pretty please with bacon on top? COME ON, PLEEEEEASSSEEEEEEE?" Not fun. But I am with what others have already said: That length isn't a problem if it doesn't feel like it's dragging. --- Help control the pet population. I've only played E2-1 of the second game unfortunately. I think part of it was that AAI1 was just okay. Also wanted to add that I argued with some morons on Facebook who said it was a "really bad move" that they voted out Mo instead of Venus. I kept saying "Siga was five strong. Nami was five divided. Did you even watch the episode?" Feels good that this episode proved me 100% correct. Voting Mo out was the right move for both Yanu and Nami. Blaziken posted... I love Q, I really do. I'm surprised that an aggressive alpha male like him is such an intriguing character to me, yet here we are.I think it's how erratic he is. He's enigmatic - you never know what you're getting. And that may be because Jelinsky, Jess, and Bhanu were all on his starting tribe, and his sanity devolved quickly. Also, I hope it's Tim. He does even less for me than Ben does, though that's not saying much. Ben at least had the "T-Swift vs. Metallica" scene, and now opening up at this Tribal. Gen 1 has classics like the original Geodude line, Onix, Rhydon, and Lord Helix. Gen 2 has Tyranitar and... Magcargo would be decent if not for that horrendous typing. Yeah, that leads me to why Rock-types are usually awful: Their weakness profile is the most crippling of any. Water, Grass, Ground, Fighting, AND Steel is particularly terrible. There's a reason a majority of these Pokemon have at least one 4x weakness. Rock/Ground to Water AND Grass, Rock/Water to Grass, Fire/Rock to Water AND Ground, Rock/Dark to Fighting, Rock/Steel to Fighting AND Ground, Rock/Electric to Ground, Rock/Ice to Fighting AND Steel... Yeah, looking at that, there's a reason Rock is among my least favorite types. They really could've done without the weakness to Ground. I never played Sword, only Shield, but the idea of there being a Rock-type gym so late in the game is not a good one. I've heard people say that Gordie is among the weakest gym leaders they've ever faced; Melony is considerably better, since I at least had a halfway decent fight with her. Gardevoir, Metagross, Medicham, Lati@s, and Jirachi are awesome. Deoxys is good. Lunatone and Solrock would be awesome if they had +30 in stats. Why does Mo want to stay loyal to an alliance of 5 she's on the bottom of? Why does Q think Mo idolizing Aubry equate to her being as good as Aubry? Why is Tim not committing to anything at all? Why did they not split the girls and the guys evenly at this Mergeatory challenge? Blaziken posted... Venus has had merge boot written all over her for such a long time. She's got big RC energy.Her story in this episode is either that her name "comes up" on the parchments or that she actually manages to integrate and potentially win the season. I'm leaning more toward the former. Shame, since I really want to see her on the jury bench. Also is this the first spring season in Fiji to not merge to Yanu's beach? Gen I (There is almost NOTHING bad about this generation.The worst thing is probably the overabundance of Grass/Poison types, which is more a Grass-type problem, but even so they're mostly excellent. also Gen VI (The Mega evolutions are all that this generation really has going for it.
