Nobody seems to think of how much being IT is like being a doctor. You don't walk into the doctor's office and say "I'm dead" and then sit there quietly while they fix your cough. I need clues so I can guess what the problem is and then test my hypothesis.

I like to compare it to an auto mechanic if anything.

I think the worst is "the computer won't let me..."

At least that gives you something to work with. Calling in to the helpdesk and telling them your "internet is broke" doesn't mean shit. Especially when it ends up that the user was going to a blocked website. How does you getting a message saying www.shoppinglovers.com is blocked mean your internet is broken?

Honestly, my favorite one on a Monday morning.
User: "Did something happen with the server over the weekend?"
Me: "Which one? We have 75 of them."
User: "......don't be like that. You know which one I'm talking about!"
Me: "Just tell me what is happening so this conversation can end."
User: "I keep getting this pop up saying low disk space."
Me: *click*

Yes as is Jane the Virgin. Both are very clever and much better than they sound.

oh shit you read my mind bro that's nifty coincidence. Literally the 2 shows I was planning on binging

Probably cause both are some of the best stuff on the CW.

So to prep yourself. Crazy Ex Girlfriend Season 1 is great. It's kinda downhill after that. Still OK to watch cause the characters are relatively likeable.

Jane though...has been hilarious nearly it's entire run.

Phantom 2040 for SNES (it was on Genesis too though I think)

Every time I mention it, nobody fucking knows about it. They don't even know about the TV show it was based on, but apparently it was French and aired on UPN so since I'm like the only 90's kid who grew up poor on here apparently, I'm the only one who watched it.

Had it for the Genesis. Really enjoyed the open world parts of it. Was never able to get but so far in it. Some of the boss fights were difficult. I remember the first couple episodes of the show being turned into a movie and I ordered it on pay per view. Never saw the show otherwise.

Crimson Skies

I had Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge. Fantastic gameplay. The air fighting was so satisfying. I always hated how short the game was. Also thought it was funny that the main character was named Nathan and he was a fortune hunter. Uncharted copied his entire personality and pasted it into Nathan Drake.

We go to Washington DC a lot too.

There's a Holiday Inn in Rosslyn right across from the Key Bridge in Arlington VA that runs much cheaper than places in the city do, and it's a nice hotel

http://www.hirosslyn.com/

There's a metro station a block away

2k will cover museums (free), sightseeing, food (excellent food in the DC area), metro tickets, and craft beer/wine if you're into those things.

Obviously you're going to go the National Mall and see the Smithsonian museums, monuments, Capitol building, White House, etc... which is all 100% free.

The Zoo is really good and 100% free as well

I suggest going to different districts of DC every day to explore the city if you've never been there. Adams Morgan, Dupont Circle, Logan Circle, and Foggy Bottom/Georgetown are really must visits if you're younger.

You can also explore Alexandria and Arlington

Ive only been to DC as a kid, and I was too young to really appreciate it. Id like to go back and explore.

We were pretty close by last May, and planned on stopping there for a day. But it ended up downpouring the entire tome

If you do go that hotel I posted is my suggestion of where to stay. It's literally right by a metro station, and I think we paid like $150 a night in July to stay there.

I'd second DC but to one up your hotel, I'd suggest The Pod. Hip micro hotel that can be had for about $75 a night and it's right beside the entrance of Chinatown. It also has a roof top bar, a whiskey basement(with great unique cocktails), and 50s style diner on the ground floor.

It most likely won't get him fired but it almost certainly means he won't move up. Sometimes you gotta suck it up and mingle with people you don't want to if you want to climb the ladder.

It won't directly cause him to be fired no. If there are layoffs though and they are figuring out who to let go, this personality trait will be to his disadvantage.
