When I worked at Wal-Mart, one of my coworkers was mopping a floor and talking to a customer getting a steak. He found out, based on what the customer wants, he was getting the wrong kind and told the customer, who thanked him but disagreed. Guys don't need to farm chalices, just use the community made ones.

You just need the pthumeru root chalice, then can start loading the false depth ones to get good gems and new weapons early on.

you have to be lucky and find one in a chalice you created.

i spent 6 weeks offline a couple of years ago, did 20+ frc chalices; only found 3 gems that were better than winterlantern drops, and no useful weps or rocks.

I fought the final boss after beating the DLC and it was piss easy because I leveled up too much.

chalices are really designed to progress with later game cycles; even levelling via dlc echoes will joke out the og end-game.

i did a vanilla, no grind, run and was lvl81 at the end, chalices will put you 200+.
