Just be warned. After the final boss, you immediately enter NG+, so you'll want to do the DLC before that.

But you know who isn't? Iosefka. I want to make sure I get the... uh... entire umbilical cord? So again made sure to use a guide which told me I needed to take out Iosefka. I didn't trust her and didn't send anyone her way anyways. Her clinic is not cool.

Her clinic is one of my favorites in the area, double back through forbidden woods if you haven't yet and climb that fat ass ladder

It's not obvious and I don't think it's outright explained in the game but in regards to Iosefka, she actually gets murdered sometime between you meeting her and killing Father Gascoigne. That's why she goes from saying she can't open the door to protect her clients, to asking you to find people to bring to her. She's been killed and replaced by Impostor Iosefka. She was turned into one of those blue aliens. The one you kill when you finally get access to the clinic drops Iosefka's Blood Vial...because THAT was the real Iosefka.

Two out of the three best weapons in the DLC, and really easy to get on a new character. Church Pick is the other good one, but that one is a little harder to get.

Yeah you can't get the Church Pick until you make it to the second lamp in the Fishing Hamlet I think. Cause you need the key

my fave builds are around lvl60 with weps like the boom, moonlight, and BoM.

the gem grind is awful, but once you get that set-up it's gank spank time.

That why they give you 5 vials every time before that fight. Dudes probably the hardest boss in the game.

I've heard good things about FF14 but I can't be fucked to put time in an MMO, anymore. It's just not as fun for me.

If you ever need to stock up on supplies and don't have a hang up about "cheese strats" you could always abuse save edited chalice dungeons for an absurd about of echoes to use for items. I personally use it myself to make sure I never have to farm to vials or bullets, and don't use it for levels, but that's also just me.

FF14 is a lot of fun. They have a free trial for the original content and the first expansion. No pressure, no stress.

Hmmmm, chalice dungeons. I haven't made a single one. How exactly does that whole process work?

Basically after defeating the Blood Starved Beast, he dropped a Pthumeru Chalice, remember? So with the ritual blood you got from Old Yharnam and a few echoes, you head to the gravestones left of spawn in the Hunters Dream and you can create an Awakening Headstone that takes you to the corresponding dungeon. Chalices are either fixed, or Root Chalices are randomly generated each time.

In short, work your way through the Pthumeru Dungeon until you hit Layer 2 I think, where the boss drops the Lower Pthumeru Chalice. The boss in that drops you a Root Chalice, which, using the online glyph searching function (cummmfpk), generates a dungeon that gives you free echoes merely by walking forward. A substantial amount (83k~)

Then you use that for supplies.

So it isn't an immediate thing, you do have to do a bit of leg work, about a half hours worth. But, there's a few exclusive bosses in the Chalices, including one you need to get the Platinum.

Chalices can be good fun, and I recommend you experiment with them before you hang the game up. There's a few great bosses in there. Some not so great on the way but you'll be strong enough by now to kinda walk through them.

Buddy of mine said he didn't do the DLC until he was in the high 90's for level... I was at 72.

your lvl is fine 75-95 is about right for end game, ie. dlc will seriously challenge you. pump vit some more if it seems truly overwhelming.

First phase is trickier than the second for me. His jump shit and galloping give me so much trouble.

Just stick to the booty, you'll get it soon.
