I don't understand what this means. The Earth is tilted, higher latitudes have longer periods of daylight when they're tilted towards the sun and shorter periods when they're tilted away. Setting the clocks back or forward an hour doesn't change how much light you get.

The 14th Amendment itself doesn't have anything to do with elections, it makes you literally ineligible for the office. But it's a lot easier to get someone removed from ballots on the basis of ineligibility than to challenge the election results saying "you can't be President despite the fact you won 270 electoral votes." Especially with a loaded up openly biased Conservative SCOTUS.

If you keep the summer time, then it would be dark for way too long in the winter.
If you keep the winter time, then it's way too bright way too early in the morning.

I'm in Central European time zone and during December with current Daylight savings it's completely dark until like 7am. Gets dark again at like 4:30pm.
But in July it starts dawning at like 3:30am and it doesn't get dark until 9pm.

Can't have neither 8am dark in the winter nor 2:30-3am dawn in the summer.

it's for passing. if you are not actively passing someone to your right, you should get over. the only reasonable exception to this is heavy traffic in a city, but when that happens you're most likely passing the right lane by going the speed limit.

road signs even say "KEEP RIGHT EXCEPT TO PASS". note there is no exception for the middle lane.

I've never seen one of those signs on a 3 lane road, only 2.

But it's still basically correct, if you're by yourself on the road, use the outside lane. Move to inside lanes if you encounter slower traffic.

They're still selling the M1 Macbook at $899 if you take advantage of the education discount (apparently they do no verification whatsoever.) I could see a cut down / de-featured version of that coming in at 600.

Depending on the performance of the M3 chips I might just have to upgrade and donate my 2020 M1 to a family member. I'm pretty much done with fans on laptops though so if they're only good in the Pro I'll give it a miss.
