Always with the punishing everyone over isolated instances. This particular case was an irresponsible fan, but who cares what shitty mods someone uses in single player?

While many fans will point out the usefulness for mods for accessibility, and as a way for fans to express themselves, Capcoms position is completely understandable. It was based on something that actually happened, and has already affected them.

If the Capcom FGC want to sway the company away from this position, they are going to have to come up with something very persuasive to convince them it wont happen again. We will see how this will affect Capcom and their relationship with fans, as Capcom follows through on this sudden hardline stance with action.

As if you're on PC using mods, why bother buying their costume and cosmetic DLC?

I wonder how shook they are by the UMvC3 modding scene recently figuring out how to straight up import animations from other things, so now we're right at the doorstep of being able to make better MvC sequels than they're willing to using "custom" content instead of kitbashing what was already in there together in new ways like before.

Reminder how shitty SF6's monetization is. You can't just buy a character, you have to pay for their in game currency, and there is no way to buy exactly enough for the character, you have to pay for currency left over.Haven't played SF6 since Rashid came out and I discovered it, really annoying and I lost interest and never picked it back up

"Everyone does it" is a defense, dude. And shit, the Jojo ASBR fighting game has better monetization and that's a nobody dev. Actually, how many fighting games out there can you genuinely not buy the fucking character dlc pack on the store page?

At the same time exclusively hating one company or person that everyone does isn't exactly fair either. Nintendo does the same thing with Smash Bros and Mario Kart.
