a product doesn't need to do "anything new" to warrant high praise, and TLoU2 is a masterfully made cinematic action-adventure game.

I'm not going to comment on its story, since I'm about four and a half hours into it, but it has been good so far.

Like i said in my original post, i dont regret buying the game at all, to me it is just much weaker than the first installment. Either way its hard to complain really after the incredibly short and lazily made resident evil 3 remake i paid full price for. I just dont believe it deserves high praise or to be review bombed.

This game deserves no lower than a 4 and no higher than a 6. From a narrative stand point i was left pretty disappointed. From a gameplay stand point even more so. Its a mediocre game that pushed no boundaries except for identity politics and it will suffer idiocy because of it.

I expected more after tlou, yes I was left disappointed. Do I regret my purchase? Not when I bought resident evil 3 remake at full price.

it most certainly can be. It not always is but if you do any of the following it certainly is, If you yell at your child in an angry voice and threaten to put them in timeout that is abuse, if they have a specific spot away from you that is abuse, if you refuse to interact with your child while in timeout it is abuse, mental abuse and neglect. If you physically move your child to timeout that is physical abuse. I could go on but im not going too Ive said enough and am tired of being called a troll for simply knowing better due to being married to a cps worker and having friends who are child pyschologists due to that fact.

when you yell or threaten or impose timeouts or deprive your children of things they enjoy, your children they a) feel resentful and b) stop communicating. They stop telling you things you should know, they lie to escape punishment, their self-esteem suffers they act out more. And those core needs? Theyre still not being met.

All punishments are ineffective, because the vast majority of kids dont misbehave they behave. They behave like kids. They dont do things to be bad, they do things because those things are age appropriate, or because theyre still learning, or because theyre not getting some basic need met. Maybe they are hungry or tired? maybe they are overstimulated or overwhelmed? maybe they need a hug. Or maybe they just dont know how to process whatever emotion theyre feeling.

The more you use punishments to respond to behavior, the more you are actually escalating behavior and creating a reality where you have more behavior problems. it takes the core need of the child and uses it as a bargaining chip. A child has a lot of core needs, one of the most vital is emotional attachment parents sacrifice this when they place their kids in timeouts.

its damn hard to be a parent, I have two children one has developmental delays and is a real hair puller at times you dont know struggle. But punishments have never worked with my kids.

im not trolling in the slightest. My wife used to work for child protective services regardless of what you believe to be the case, it can be considered abuse. If you send your child to their room for more than an hour that is considered neglect, if you put them in the corner it is considered mental abuse.

unless you have a damn clue shut the fuck up and dont call people trolls when you litterally do not know shit. Whether it is actual abuse or not does not matter to the courts, or cps. Cps has deemed it as abuse.

it is actually considered abuse and sending them to their room can be considered neglect. Eh i went to the dentist got a filling, dentist didnt completely fill the cavity so after 10 years it continued under the filling and regular dentist checkups missed it until i had to have the tooth pulled because there wasnt enough structure to do a root canal.

i got to the dentist, i brush floss and use listerine twice daily, my teeth still are fucked because of bad genetics and no amount of dentistry can save them. When people say go to the dentist they simply dont have a clue. My teeth are straight and a little off white, not yellow but ive needed alot of fillings despite having good dental hygiene.
