Even if a crew is NOT at 40 hours for the week all weekend work is double time and that's why you rarely see construction companies with crews going on weekends. The crew will do it, provided the owner is going to pay for it. Would you prefer if they just let the storm drain fail and flood out the entire area every time it rains? Or even if the job was to replace the asphalt and they decided that they better update their storm lines now while the road is milled down, would you prefer they let the road turn to complete shit and not ever fix and/or repair it? I'll tell you what, go to the foreman tomorrow and give him your schedule and when it would be most convenient for you that they work. Let's see how well that goes. Better yet, write your councilman and tell him to increase the budget on the project so they can work nights and weekends. Or.... Suck it up and leave 10 minutes early. Now I have to use the entrance which not only requires turning right onto a busy highway and then quickly making another right, but there's a bump that legitimately looks like a fucking curb, that's how big it is (which was JUST built after another month of construction, funny), and you have to come to a complete stop to avoid scraping the bottom of your car. --- Not removing this until Pat Benatar is in Super Smash Bros.
