Trust me, I do sales for a major bank. You could do well investing the money, but money markets and cds don't pay that much. Between the prime rate being set so low after the recession for so long, to Glass Steagall being repealed 20 years ago, savings now aren't what they were for our parents. Old people complain that they used to used to get 5% and now get 1% in their savings, bit they tend to forget that mortgages were in the teens rather than the single digits back in their day. Hence why it made sense to save then. Now it's impossible; your savings depreciate due to inflation vs your low rate. --- BADoglick to the Max! |

There were too many Caps free to play down low, screening him and knocking in rebounds. They need to clean that up, or the Capitals will eventually make them pay for that. It worked against Pittsburgh; without Ian Cole clearing the crease it was an ugly series for the Pens defensively. Anyway, glad to see Vegas win. Washington was the better team in my opinion, so as someone on the Knights bandwagon, I hope to see them tighten up the defense going forward. --- BADoglick to the Max! |

To those who may reply... 'well maybe the fact that half of the country has a mental illness means that no one should have guns', just remember that when you say that, what you actually mean is 'no civilians should have guns, only government employees', because we all know they're not relinquishing their right to bear arms. And just remember who's commander in chief of the entire military, and who's on the wrong side of the BLM/Thin Blue Line debate..... someone with an obvious case of mental illness.
