This is a big game for both teams, and very few predicted these two would be in the finals. Early sports reporters were saying Knights were going to be swept by the Kings (lol went the other way) and rue Caps to choke on the Pens.
I was calling for the Knights to be here from the start of the season. (hopeful optimism) Now we shall see what each team does.

Now? The only other expansion team to make it to the finals was in a conference of 6 expansion teams, meaning one of them had to make it.

The Blues in their first season.

They were the first expansion team to make it to the finals, but their conference was only other expansion teams, making it kind of a mute point that they made it that far

Tom Wilson should go play in traffic. What an ass.

Fleury didn't have his best game, but the defense didn't make it easy for him. There were too many Caps free to play down low, screening him and knocking in rebounds. They need to clean that up, or the Capitals will eventually make them pay for that. It worked against Pittsburgh; without Ian Cole clearing the crease it was an ugly series for the Pens defensively.

Anyway, glad to see Vegas win. Washington was the better team in my opinion, so as someone on the Knights bandwagon, I hope to see them tighten up the defense going forward.
