| Aysander 07/28/18 4:39:07 PM #38 | Dumb article is dumb. Even the United States has a unique culture, the only difference is that it's not as cohesive as most other cultures. Things vary wildly in different regions of the country, and we often adopt other cultural traditions alongside our own. The British obviously have plenty of culture, the existence of the Monarchy, even if they have no power, is one such example of culture. Fish n' Chips is a cultural food, several holidays are unique to the British of England. Germans, and Germanic countries, have shit like Karneval as well as their religious celebrations, plus Oktoberfest and the like. The region around Germany is pretty much like the States in a way, because there is a lot of regional variance to take into account -- there are at least five unique takes on Krampus and such. Just because the United States, and some other White majority countries, do not necessarily have loud, obnoxious cultural festivals every five months, does not mean we don't have culture lol. --- |
