I have Sans winning the contest easily.

I took Sans to Snake which I really regret. I thought the double gamefaqs votes would make a bigger difference against rallies but even with that the votals are too low to stop rallies. If he actually makes it to Snake then he'll probably win the whole thing. I should have taken him to lose early or taken him all the way. I think I guaranteed myself a poor bracket with that choice regardless of if he gets rallied or not.

I'm surprised how much fun has been taken away from me by betting on rallies. Terrible mistake. Will never do it again (if there's ever another contest).

yeah that probably wasn't the best idea. i initially had D.Va losing to Snake, then switched to having her lose round 2, then switched to having her win the whole thing <_<

I have Waluigi and Sans both going pretty far. What pisses me off most is I went to change Waluigi to losing in like the second round but the bracket page was already closed :( And there was still like an hour left before the first match went up. Ah well.

I'm still holding out hope for a successful Waluigi rally, but if not... it was nice knowing you, leaderboard.

I took Geralt. Considering I did it because I figured it was the least likely possibly rally (so nobody else here would pick it), I can't complain. Not like I would have won with a non-rally pick anyway.

I'm still not counting out Draven, though. I have him losing to Sans in the legends final division round, and had him losing to Monika in the second chance round. Too bad Monika flopped badly, lmao.

I picked Geralt to beat Zelda and Sonic in the loser's bracket, partially due to rally potential.

Went with D.Va. This is how I expected it to play out though I don't see anyone getting rallied in round 1. Her having a soft opponent she could beat without rallying was important to my calculation.

Yeah I was thinking that if we had double registered votes in 2013 or 2015 Undertale, Melee, the various Pokemon, and Draven all would have easily been stopped. The vote totals have just dropped to such a huge extent since then that even with this new rule gamefaqs votes probably can't stop a rally.

D.Va winning is very possible though imo. I considered gambling on that but I wasn't sure if anyone will put in enough effort to rally for her. I don't think a topic on the overwatch reddit will be enough like it was for Draven.

Monika to round three

I have Sans to round three too but I had him to round three on the basis this site might've actually taken to Undertale and thus he can win two matches legit. No reason I took Sans was based in rallies.

Indie characters haven't done that bad so idk

my confidence in D.Va has gone way down. i kinda wish i had bet on Sans instead. though i think i do have a better shot at a prize with D.Va than Link still, because the rest of my bracket looks like it could get really bad in the later rounds.

I took Sans to round three based off of legit strength. I did not think Pac-Man/Bayo/Riku are going to be that strong, and saw any possible match combination there in R2 being a 54-46 or closer.

I fell for RallyFear too. With the lack of rallies, Link will win. Guess I should've gone with the boring result instead of trying for the unpredictable one.

Or maybe even a rally starting further into the contest like Melee vs CT on a character we never considered for it.
