How do you ignore my texts and block me on all social media for three months then randomly text me one morning out of the blue? Inside source says 'Nintendo's current management doesn't see a future for these games

It's always hard to categorize these sorts of posts. The leak of the SNES Classic was definitely a rumor, and this post is remotely in the same category as that, but what we have here is more of an opinion from a trusted source than a declaration of fact.

And no, this source isn't another gaggle of GameStop employees. They asked not to be named, but rest assured, the sources here are pretty substantial, and they've stayed consistent with their reports for a while. It was actually back in 2015 that they first started telling me that Mother 3 would not be leaving Japan and that the Rhythm Heaven series was on indefinite hold. The thing is though, these kinds of decisions can be reversed at any time, so I've been holding out hope that as Nintendo gets their feet on the ground with the Switch, they may have a change of heart. It wasn't until yesterday that I finally let those hopes go, when I heard from yet another source that I should give up on both franchises for good. Here's their exact quote.

"You never know what's going to happen, but the way it looks right now, under Nintendo's current administration, Mother 3 will never leave Japan and there will never be another Rhythm Heaven game. Iwata was a driving force behind the Rhythm Heaven series, and a consistent advocate for NoA to at least look at the possibility of Mother 3 finding a new audience in the United States and Europe. With him gone, there is no one at Nintendo pushing for either anymore."

"The core team behind the Rhythm Heaven series has more or less disbanded, and the last time anyone at NoA considered translating Mother 3, they shelved the game as soon as they got to the Magypsies. That was a while ago now, and if anything, management has gotten even less adventurous since then. Depicting Trans characters in a way that would likely insult both the political Left and the Right in the U.S., is the last kind of attention that Nintendo wants for themselves in 2017. They want nothing to do with those kinds of headlines and potential protests."

So there you have it. Maybe things will change if and when Chad Concelmo becomes president of Nintendo and/or the United States of America, but for now, don't hold your breath on seeing Mother 3 on the eShop, or the announcement of a new Rhythm Heaven, any time soon.

The show was a huge disappointment for me.

Somehow, they completely wasted Sigourney Weaver. The Hand was a complete joke. Are you seriously telling me that their most powerful weapon, The Black Sky, is just some chick who has enhanced strength and is really good at fighting? That's your unstoppable weapon in a world where The Hulk and Thor exist? Give me a fucking break.

Not to mention inconsistent showings again. Electra can punch Luke Cage and hurt him but somehow, those same punches do not completely knock out Daredevil or Iron Fist? Okay. The fight choreography was lacking once again. I love Wu Tang Clan but playing them in the final fight felt so out of place.

Anything involving Daredevil was good because he's the most compelling and developed character. Also, we got to hear Sigourney Weaver say baka which was neat.

Seriously, The Hand is a huge deal in the comics. They don't feel like shit in this. Muh Black Sky. Muh immortality. Please. If villains like The Vulture can feel more threatening than an entire criminal organization dating back centuries, then you fucked up.

Well, the game could use just a few more female fighters. Since 18 is now confirmed, the only other two female fighters that have a slimmer of a chance is Chi Chi and Videl. It's far too early for Caulifa and Kale. Pan doesn't have anything notable from GT IIRC.

Depends if they're pulling characters from the movies or not.

and DB Super is really popular right now, so they may put Kale and Caulifla in regardless.

I do think those two will be playable at some point but as far as base roster goes, I think Beerus, Hit, Merged Zamasu, and even Cabba have a better chance of being playable day one in my opinion.

For the movies, I can see Broly, Cooler, and Janemba getting in for now. It depends on what the devs want to do with this "What if" story mode and the size of the roster.

It's difficult trying to predict the roster because of the devs saying DB fans of all generations being able to enjoy it. Does that include the original Dragon Ball and GT? Who knows.

Crackdown 3 will no longer launch on November 7 alongside the Xbox One X. Microsoft confirmed today that the Xbox One and PC action game is now coming in Spring 2018.

In a statement to Polygon, Microsoft Studios GM Shannon Loftis said delaying the game will give studios Reagent Games, Sumo Digital, and Cloudgine the time they need to deliver the "hugely ambitious" game to their quality standards.

"We’re very excited about Crackdown 3, and so are many fans, and so it's a difficult call to move the release date," Loftis told the site. "However, we want to make sure to deliver the right game, with the right quality, and at the right time. Crackdown 3 is a hugely ambitious game and we want to ensure we deliver the right experiences all the way through every part of the game, whether that's campaign, co-op multiplayer or our competitive multiplayer mode, Wrecking Zone. Getting the balance right between the three modes is important, and we are going to take the extra development time to ensure that. Gamers can expect Crackdown 3 in Spring of 2018."

More specifically, Loftis said the extra time will give the development teams the time they need to "focus on the visual polish" in an effort to make a game that "completely" immerses players in a "living world."
