Atlus held a 30-minute live stream earlier today to recruit new potential employees at the new Studio Zero internal development team, dubbed the “Golden Recruitment Special Program.”

The live stream was “Golden Playhouse” themed, which was the narrative framework behind the 2011 release, Catherine.. Music from the puzzle platformer was played throughout the program. The introduction and conclusion of the live stream was given by Trisha, a character and host from Catherine.

At the very end of the live stream, Trisha seemingly speaks to Atlus directly, asking when she will get her turn next to the upcoming fantasy RPG Project Re Fantasy. She then teases that, for those awaiting this, there might be surprises in store, and expresses surprise when her “next job” might be discussed.

I love Catherine. Fantastic game. A sequel or at least some sort of spiritual successor would be cool.

Mice try to get into the basement windows. Occasionally, the raccoons are seen in the sewers. Chipmunks and groundhogs live in the garden. Deer always come out at night and mess around in the backyards. You can find nests with eggs just about everywhere. Had a bird build a nest on the rim of my basketball hoop when I was young.

Hm, rabbits live around here. You can see the bats at night if you look closely. You can definitely hear the owls at all times of the day. Snakes live under the decks of houses. You can find fish, turtles, and frog in the marsh area.

Oh right, in the early morning, you can catch the hawks perched on a tree with their wings spread out. Stick around long enough and you can watch them take off. It's quite a sight.

It is being reported that producers on the set of Deadpool 2 ignored concerns from the stunt coordinators about Joi Harris' abilities. The stunt was relatively straight forward and would have been incredibly easy for a trained professional. It has also been reported that the accident was a "low-speed freak accident" after the investigation by WorkSafeBC was concluded. So could it have been avoided? According to sources close to the set, it very much should have been.

Production sources told The Hollywood Reporter that the producers of Deadpool 2 exerted pressure to have Harris complete the stunt. Harris had raced motorcycles professionally, but this was her first time on a movie set. It is believed that the pressure surrounding the stunt was because she was African American and closely resembled Zazie Beetz, who plays Domino. In other words, it seems like it was convenient to get the stunt done that specific day. A member of the stunt team who was training Harris explained the situation in more detail, emphasizing that Harris was improving with training, but clearly wasn't ready at the time.

The accident has sparked outrage by many in the stunt community, including 47-year veteran, Conrad Palmisano. Palmisano echoes the sentiment of the stunt coordinators on set. He had this to say.

"The producers put pressure to have somebody of the same sex and ethnicity in a position she wasn't qualified to be in. The stunt coordinators caved to the pressure. All the stunt people could do was take it to their higher-ups. They're going to follow their chain of command."

But the most telling bit of information comes from the stunt coordinator who was training Harris on that day. The stunt coordinator explains.

"I cringed every time she went out. Like, when is she going to crash?"
Harris' death is the second fatal on-set accident in less than a month. In July, stuntman John Bernecker was killed when he fell off a warehouse balcony on the Georgia set of The Walking Dead when he missed his safety cushion by mere inches. Before that, the last on set death occurred in spring 2014 during production of Midnight Rider, when camerawoman, Sarah Jones, was killed by a train on a bridge trestle, which was also in Georgia. If the reports are to be believed, it sure looks like the accident could have been prevented, too.

It had been previously reported that the stunt had been performed successfully 5 times and that the 6th take was when the accident occurred, which is true, but the accident occurred on the first live take. So far, Fox and Deadpool 2 director David Leitch (who ironically was a stunt coordinator) have declined to comment about the new reports. As it turns out, the stunt coordinator who was training Joi Harris quit the project after the accident, telling producers that she didn't want anything to do with the movie any longer.

Two movie Batmans are too much. Two movie DCUs are too much. This is likely because Affleck seems like he's been desperately trying to leave this shit show behind. They were already talking about how Batman will be minimized or possibly even killed off for future DCEU stuff.

They're probably going for a much younger Batman, but then they could have just thrown that into the DCEU kind of like with Arkham Origins and Kevin Conroy.

I think they should have started off with a younger Batman personally then lead into a World's Finest movie with Superman and Batman. Not Batman vs Superman as one of the first films then adapt Death of Superman into that story. Much of the impact was lost in my opinion.

Earlier on we reported on some recent quotes from The Batman director Matt Reeves that seemed to indicate that his new take on The Dark Knight would not be set in The DCEU.

At the time many felt that the director's comments simply meant that his film wouldn't directly tie-in to the DC Films Universe and instead tell a standalone story, but it now looks like that might have been wishful thinking.

Here is an excerpt from THR's report on the new Joker and Harley Quinn movie that references the studio's plan to create a new label that'll tell stories set outside of the main DCEU.

"The new line, or possibly label, will allow for the making of movies that will stand apart and separate from those big-budget tentpoles. Matt Reeves’ The Batman, for example, is intended to not be connected to the Justice League universe but to be set in a different time period and star another actor."

That seems pretty clear-cut. It is worth noting that the paragraph in question has since been deleted, but that more than likely means the writer simply jumped the gun with the news. Of course, this doesn't mean for certain that Ben Affleck won't stay on as Batman in The DCEU, just that he won't play the character in Reeves' movie.

At any rate, WB really need to release some sort of statement clearing this whole thing up once and for all - but until then, let us know what you think in the usual place.

UPDATE: THR has now added the following to their report:

"An earlier version of this story stated that Matt Reeves' The Batman was part of Warner Bros.' new label and would star a new actor as Batman, but it is unclear where that project will fall."

Ive had that relationship. I went out with other girls during and she'd always get jealous but she never wanted to go with me. Then she just drifted away like a year later.

In my experience, she would ship me with other women but then want me to leave them if they weren't virgins like she was. It wa so strange. One day, she was all "Go talk to her!!". The next day, she would say "How come you never text me? :( "
