Actually I'm a little unclear what reality warping means in this context. A genie by nature is a reality warper so any wish sort of breaks rule 3 anyway.

The way it's worded probably means you just can't trick him to get more than one sentence of stuff. It doesn't say you can't get your own reality warping powers.

The difference is that when Square Enix takes 6 years to make a game, it still doesn't meet expectations, and yeah, maybe Cyberpunk won't either. However, if Witcher 3 is any indication of how it'll turn out, then it's good to see them taking their time to make it "perfect"

It's called the legend of Zelda because the main focus is always Zelda and it's her legend, link just plays a part in it.

It's Metroid because it's an homage to Alien. You don't see every film or other video game being named after the main characters.

He went out of his way to say "I'll only leave half". Hell, he wanted him to be remembered. There is no logical reason to tell him that if he was always going to do that. Thanos did not strike me as that kind of person.

I never had the assumption that he intended to completely wipe out anyone. He doesn't think he's evil. Wiping out humanity seems to contradict that belief no?

With his statement, it implies that he has some control over who dies or not. Maybe not down to the individual, but some control. At first, Earth was beneath him. Now that he sees what an Earthling is capable of, he'll show "mercy" and allow half to remain.

His statement was basically "When half of humanity is gone, I hope the remaining half remember you" His plan was never to wipe out all of earth and you were not paying attention if you thought it was. His plan was always to erase half of the universe's population at random

I just don't understand the hatred for this movie. Its pretty ridiculous. I'm not even sure what the 'joined' hatred is anymore. It started with "ITS NOTHING LIKE STAR WARS! THIS ISN'T STAR WARS AND LUKE WAS NOT LIKE THAT WHEN I SAW HIM LAST!" and now its "ITS TOO MUCH LIKE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK! WHY CAN'T THEY DO ANYTHING DIFFERENT?!"

It must be one of those "I'm going in with negative thoughts" kind of thing...

I've personally never seen any complaints for it being "too mich like empire". Most of the hate I've seen comes from the change in directors for this one movie, as well as Rian Johnson making poor creative choices.
