Some conservatives still don't like women touching guns in any situation. They want Gina to scream and hide while her husband fights. In the movie I think the husband is out of commission though. It looks like bad cowboys beat him uo for some reason and I think during the home invasion, he is laying on a bed unable to move

By now I think she would have a spinoff star wars series . Disney was planning to make a Gina series about her character on a separate adventure. But she started talking about vaccines before they got to filming it
