it's weird because completing challenges is literally the last thing I care about in this game and if I had to play ANY game with only the base skins it would not bother me at all

it still blows my mind that people will log in and play a minimum amount of games, or even just get a login bonus, (in any game really) for something that doesn't affect gameplay at all.

Everyone, I have good news and bad news.

I'm assuming you'd all like the bad news first, so here is the good news: Work has really picked up in the last week and a half and its fantastic. Of course this all plays into the bad news, firstly, the game has been delayed as you may have noticed seeing as how you do not have your roles yet, and secondly, the game will need to be postponed overall. I know that Plum will be unavailable near the end of the month, I know Lea will need to drop out if we do not start soon and i'm sure the rest of you all have varying conflicts the longer this delays.

As much as i've been pouring myself into this game which I am actually pretty excited for, its just not ready to be played. If i let it run as is you'll all want to kill me, and after my first hosting gig (Broadway Mafia, for any of you that did not play) I do not want anything to go wrong with this one (Mind you the error in that game was me accidentally giving Spiral misleading Night Action results and not a failure on the design of the game...but i digress.)

So I offer sincere apologies.

I hope that someone else can take this player list and slap a game out in 24 hours and everyone can have a smile on their face.

Again, I am sorry to you all but rest assured when this game is played the only thing that will go wrong will be you lynching Corrik Day 1 and possibly letting Lopen live too long.

Star Wars is three timelines in my headcanon. The original timeline (my preferred one) that only incorporates the OT, everything surrounding it remains pure speculation. Second timeline is with the PT and everything that era introduced.

And third timeline is Disney era that focuses on rehashing the past. It revolves around the OT, holding it up on a pedestal and revering everything it did while also trying to redo/add as much as possible without outright retconning anything (although they walk a fine line in some cases).

Yeah all the talk between the different versions of DS2 is kind of whatever. I've played through both and the difference in quality will not be noticeable unless you're playing both one right after another. Just play the remaster so you have the DLC. No need to have to pay extra money for the DLC of a mediocre game.

That video did remind me how upsetting it is to see Tennessee in the top 10.

Honestly one of my favorite traditions of the past... 15? years is watching forever overrated Notre Dame and Oklahoma lose.

I don't know why I gravitate towards those two teams but watching them lose makes me super happy.

I'm at work or I'd just link it, but check out the alternate Sif opening. If you rescue Sif in the DLC before his boss fight, the opening has him recognizing you and reluctantly picking up the sword to defend the grave. It makes an already sad boss fight when you know the lore even worse.

Sekiro is my second favorite From game. I know I'm a bit of an outlier because it's the the most they've swerved from their traditional game (there is a more concrete story, the gameplay is vastly different, it's more linear, no real multiplayer, etc) but I think it's pound for pound their most cohesive game. I rate DS1 higher but there's definitely some nostalgia playing into that.

Demon's Souls imo does not hold up as well. Even the remake which I played through feels kind of clunky due to some design decisions but that's bound to happen. It feels like playing Megaman 1 after playing later games in the series where you can see what they were going for but not everything clicks. Still worth playing if you want a piece of videogame history.

Just wanted to say, this has been a great playthrough. With you at the end of the game I'm happy you (seemingly) have enjoyed it. DS1 might be my favorite game of all time and to see someone go through it so long after it's release has been a lot of fun. There have been many games that have tried to replicate what From has done but they are still the gold standard when it comes to punishing but rewarding experiences in the modern era.

I hope you continue the series, but if you take some time off between games its understandable.
