Peach's Smash moveset was made specifically for her and doesn't really make sense on Daisy outside of the Echo context. If anything, Daisy should get a new moveset themed around sports.

daisy is far from the only character with a unfitting moveset

first of all unless they drastically tone down the action hero gun play the combat is not going to fit period

2nd bloober team is a garbage dev team who is terrible at handling the subject of mental health which is very important to silent hill 2

3rd konami is absolute garbage as well both the current silent hill projects they have put out fail to capture the spirit of silent hill

DS9 is the best star trek series its the only one to even try to give the planet of hats some degree of depth

it still falls into the planet of hats writing style but at least the hats are more varied and have some actual culture to them

I'm glad they went action based but that's a valid complaint. And your second complaint there is valid too. There should be a way to have it auto switch to your preferred character in battle if they're not gonna let you be the character out of battle

it does auto switch thats what im calling jarring

the camera jerking like that every battle

personally id have prefered a turn based game but *shrug*

also i hate how your forced to walk around as cloud so that if you are playing as some one else in battles the camera has to jump to them its jarring

Guess its not worth playing Kingdom Hearts 2 since you start with Fire in that instead of Firaga like the first

battle network each installment tells a complete story and time passes between each game

yes its pure gameplay story segregation that lan looses all the battlechips but again you got a complete game

star ocean 2 the side quests are part of its own narrative and story they matter in the context of that

same for chrono trigger

the 13 trilogy is a mess but the first game again still a complete story

and once again this is true for kingdom hearts

7 remake is NOT a complete story rebirth picks up right where remake left off

the side quests where allegedly ment to flesh out midgard and the narrative

rebirth should have taken these things in to account so they could play in to later parts of the narrative

oh god on the subject of a 9 remake

"look we rendered each hair on zidane tail in ultra 200K HD look how pretty it is"

"oh by the way do to technical limitations we can only offer the first 10 minutes of the original game stretched out to a full game length enjoy"

Just the opening area and running down generic corridors for hours is not a 9/10

FF7R had more filler than 500 word essay on the pros and cons of Ocean Grey vs Miltiary Grey

the problem is for all the talk of expanding things 7R really does not do much

it gives jessie a bit more character

but beyond that its just expanding what was 2 or 3 screens in the original into a large dungeon

or adding in a bunch of side quests (which we now know where pointless as none of that carries over)

edit: oh and it adds in the confusing meta sequel stuff that reveals the original game was a bad ending

Thats where we go back to graphical fidelity and overall production values in which the FF7 remakes are much much higher than xenoblades. According to Square, Remake had a budget of 150 mill. Of course this has no bearing on how good a game is.

The game is already 150 GB and its huge. PS1 games were just a bunch of polygons and a dozens of prerendered background so you could go crazy with the story and the places you go. Translating all that into 3D assets, plus the mo cap, voice acting, added content...its not rational to expect it into one single game. Maybe a nice remaster, but not on this scale of graphical fidelity.

xenoblade outside of X can do this exact scenario just fine

create massive worlds to explore and tell a full complete stor

and hell even X still does still tell a complete story it just ends on a cliff hanger setting up a sequel but its own internal plot is resolved

this will lead fans to demanding a remake of the remake

then come the PS8 SE will anounce FF7 REremake which will just be everything up until cloud meets arieth

and fans will defend this saying how important this part of the story is so it makes sense to expand it into a full game

A few people are saying they want this on the Rebirth board, but I really don't think it's happening. They'd have to change up a lot of stuff. Since Remake and Rebirth already have different mechanics. I'm not saying it's an impossible task to do, but rather Square Enix won't bother with it as I doubt they would see a high return on investment.
