I hated the book at first because it made me cringe with all the video game shit. I got into it and found it at least somewhat enjoyable if stupid by the end.

The movie made me wanna claw my eyes out.

The forced love story, and the whole becoming a super nerd with the fancy workout suit was cringy as fuck. It felt like I was reading what the author fantasizes about while he rubs one out.

I think the problem is, when you're eating them in the military it's the only option, so get can become bitter towards them, and sure it's not restaurant quality food, but it's better tasting than say a Hot Pocket

Shoot em on the shoulder, on the thigh or something. Kill em? Nah.

That's not easy to do in a high pressure situation. Then factor in that the shoulder is right next to a few major organs and the thigh has a major artery running through it. Shooting to injure isn't practical in a real life setting.

I've seen competition shooters miss center mass shots on moving targets in combat. Hell, we train on reloading under stress because you lose fine motor skill and often time eye coordination.

Add to that a drunk guy literally fighting someone to the death probably won't stop if you just hit thigh muscle. Depending on the caliber.

Full house during it's actual run was considered good. Hell, all the family sitcoms that were cheesy as fuck were considered good in the late 80s and 90s. Boy Meets World now a days would just make most people shake their heads, but when it was on even the "jocks" talked about it at school.
