I put half in a CD type of savings with my primary banking institution. Then I use 25% to pay off all my debt and whatever left of that 25% goes into my checking and short term savings account.

The other remaining 25% I gradually invest / DCA into Crypto, Stocks and Roth IRA / Traditional IRA over the next 1-2 years.

I'll use my immediate paychecks from work and the 25% I put into checking and short term savings for monthly bills and living expenses. And do my best to ensure that 25% either grows or stays at the same levels.

After 12 Months I reevaluate where I'm at in my life and with finances

Let's see, I saw Avatar with a friend at the start of 2010 and it was OK. He was raving about how it was one of the best movies of the decade, but he would soon forget all about it entirely and claim to not remember saying that.

Strange. I have a Pixel 8 Pro XL and have never had a single issue. It might be the most robust and bullet proof phone I've ever had. I didn't realize it had any documented issues that crop up.

Even just the physical build has been impressive for me. I think this is the longest I've had a phone where I've had it since launch and haven't had one crack or blemish on it yet. And this is with me keeping it my pocket and having my two sons play with it all the time.

It's been a great phone for me despite the recent issues unfortunately. I'd rather keep it, but because of these two issues it's been giving me recently (Wifi malfunctioning and the near bricking/boot issues) I'm thinking I should replace it while I can before it breaks down on me at a bad time

If they offer me a fresh Pixel 8 Pro in exchange I still might take it. Not sure how the preferred care program works.

It might be cool to get a Pixel 9 upgrade option though.

I have the Pixel 8 Pro XL as well with a Spigen case. I liked it a lot other than the recent issues. Especially the camera quality

Phone almost bricked itself again during a restart. Going to look into getting it replaced tomorrow. Fortunately I have a Google preferred care plan, hopefully I can get a quick replacement at the Google store

Also the Wi-Fi doesn't stay on, and that looks like a known and unresolved issue as well with the Pixel 8 Pro

Try booting into safe mode. It might help fix it I guess lol

Also to update my phone is back to being fully functional now it seems, so that's cool

Pixels seem to have a loose issue with bricking themselves. When I bought my new phone, I tried to wipe my Pixel 6A so I could give it away, and for some reason, its a regular issue for the Pixel 6A to brick itself when formatting.

I had the Pixel 6A as well it was a great phone while it was working, but one day the touch screen glitched out on me. That's what led me to the Pixel 8 Pro upgrade

It might have been my fault though for the 6A because I used a Nintendo Switch charger on it and I think it was incompatible and caused issues.

It just wasn't turning on charging or anything out of nowhere.

Had to look up online potential fixes, and saw advice to hold the power button, and both volume buttons down at the same time while the phone is on the charger. And hold the buttons for 30 minutes.

It's on now booted into Safe Mode, but I'm nervous about turning it off and on and putting it back into normal mode. Hope it doesn't brick if I do that...

I beat the PS2 ones with and without cheats

I played the online of GTA 4 extremely heavily on PC back on the day. Might be my most played game in terms of hours from 2009 to today. Other than Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and the Megaman Battle Network series

I know quite a few at my company. They pick up a simple ticket, they do the work, they move on to the next one. No long term projects, no desire to really rise above. Just pick up a ticket, do it, and move on. Typically they are on a bug / support team and just churn through tickets that can't be automated out with fixes.

Nothing wrong with that in my opinion, companies need maintenance on their code base, that may be the number problem area I see in companies the lack of maintenance on their code base in terms of bugs and even updating dependencies to avoid falling behind on vulnerabilities

PS2, gamecube and xbox graphics are when 3D started aging gracefully to me.

Like I still wince at some real booty early PS1, N64 depending on the game and sega saturn 3D, but PS2/gamecube/xbox is gorgeous in comparison.

Yeah as a whole that's the generation with graceful aged 3D Graphics

PS1 Era has some positive expectations to the rule like Spyro Year of the Dragon but I'm general the 3D games look rough on PS1

PS2 Graphics is the first level where I say the 3D graphics are good enough to be presentable regardless of era

PS1 / N64 era is too archaic, but PS2 / Dreamcast+ is when it becomes functional

It's one of those things where (outside of the ADHD diagnosis) I don't really know what the actual benefit of being diagnosed as an adult is + the government is supposedly tracking autism diagnoses now, so I don't really care to find out for certain.

I function in society and have a wife, house and career so it doesn't seem worth the effort to find out for sure.

I'm happy for you and wish you the best in life. I understand how you feel. Certain things happened with me recently in terms of functioning/fitting in at work and also at a recent social gatherings where I feel like I started to realize maybe I do have this disorder. Mainly feeling like I'm going to have a total shutdown while amongst people then embarrass myself because I can't keep up maintaining the "frame" I hold when socializing

Also as a youth I would become mute at certain points of times especially in school. Initially I thought/knew it was Social Anxiety but after discovering more I think it's deeper than that

Or maybe part of myself was in denial, because my peers always thought I was weird but I wouldn't accept it as having any type of mental "deficit". Even my family would call me "slow" at times though. All of those would effect my self esteem.

Maybe it's all a sign that I had this disorder but no one knew exactly what it was. Or maybe people thought I would grow out of it or unlearn/overcome it. Or maybe it was denial or I didn't want to accept it due to the stigma

Right now I rather know regardless of any stigma though because it would at least explain a lot in my life and give me more clarity

That is really concerning that the government is tracking Autism diagnosis' though, I would much prefer not to be tracked
