I used to doodle all kinds of stuff in high school. Mind you, none of it was every really good. But one thing I still draw from my high school days is guns and swords. I've always liked weapons and I like to doodle guns every now and again. I've actually been drawing guns since I was a kid and have gotten decent enough at it IMO. But they are by no means professional at all or realistic. Just comic book style, pencil drawn; weapons.

Where this manga come from? Im hearing about it more.

I suggested it a while ago in previous threads because I thought it was pretty good and underrated. I mentioned it again after Goblin Slayer and Berserk were brought up, as Ubel Blatt, GS, and Berserk all have similarities.
I have the Vol.0 compilation of the manga novels, going to order Vol.1 soon. I prefer the actual book to reading it online.

Goddamn that was a powerful ending to Goblin Slayer's major arc.

Guys, I swear, you HAVE to read Goblin Slayer, if you're any kind of fan of "dark" high fantasy mangas like Berserk.

It's not for the faint of heart though. Like I said, this is like Berserk, so expect gore, death, and lots of rape.

But it's truly good. Comparing GS's first 15 chapters with Berserk's, and I can say that GS beats it by a landslide. And it'll only get better from here.

Sounds like Ubel Blatt, which is a manga I've recommended on this thread a couple times. It is also dark high fantasy with plenty of gore, death, and nudity.

Also, I don't know if I said this before, but I'm reading a manga that pretty recently got an anime announced. Golden Kamui, it's a survival adventure set in post Russo-japanese war in 1920's in Hokkaido. MC quirkily can survive grievous wounds, so he's supposingly immortal. Other than that, there's nothing supernatural I think. And he's accompanied by an Ainu woman in their adventure.

bout' time it got an anime, I always thought Golden Kamui was really cool.

I agree that Bobobo-bo bo-bobo is really funny, I used to read it when it was in Shonen Jump. Although the humor like you said- comes from the absurdity of it, so not everyone would enjoy that. It remains one of the few manga though that made me consistently laugh.

So I stumbled upon another gem of a manga today.
It's not often that Japan makes manga or anime that relates to american culture; much less, the old west. But I
It's about a guy in the wild west, a skilled gunslinger, and renowned sheriff. But, he only got his skills because he thought ladies would love it and he wanted to be popular with women!
It's called Hoankan Evans no Uso: Dead or Love
It's pretty good.

You should check out Gun Blaze West. Its a 3 volume western manga. Its short but really good IMO and it was by the same guy who made Rurouni Kenshin and Buso Renkin; Nobuhiro Watsuki.

Panty and Stocking's soundtrack is incredibly cool, and a mainstay in my collection.

definitely agree with you on that, the multiple albums they released were great and I always come back to them.

some of my other favourite anime soundtracks; at least the few I can think right now are:

Ninja Scroll 2004 have been listening to it for years and it never gets old, good balance between aggressive and calm.

FLCL- The Pillows did a fantastic job providing the themes and bgm for it.

movie wise all I can think of right now is how much I like Susumu Hirasawa's work with Satoshi Kon on Paprika and Paranoia Agent.

Still, I feel like ghost hound in particular created an atmosphere that really was conducive to horror, they just went in a different direction. Sorta. Maybe I should rewatch ghost hound. Wish there were more things like it.

I agree, in that Ghost Hound had particular atmosphere. It worked well and you immediately could tell something was up, makes you uneasy about whats to come but in good way.

Muhyo & Roji's Bureau of Supernatural Investigation manga has some good scary moments in it too, while also having plenty of good comedy, the build up is great and gives you a reason and plenty of time to get creeped out. The very first volume gives you a good scare right off the bat when Muhyo and Roji explore the subway looking to exorcise the soul of a girl who committed suicide.

I'd also recommend Wicked City. It is sufficiently creepy but more on the action side of scares. No dumb teenagers either, "The story takes place towards the end of the 20th century and explores the idea that the human world secretly coexists with the demon world with a secret police force known as the Black Guard protecting the boundary."-taken from Wikipedia

But I only read a bit of Uzumaki before calling it quits, it freaked me out too much.
But I read all of Gyo out of morbid curiosity and wished I didn't. It was really disturbing to me and stills messes with my mind to this day. I'm not a fan of horror in any genre so it was a bad idea for me from the get go.

Same goes for the rest of them.
I haven't watched Naruto at all and read a bunch of the manga instead and lost interest. I have never liked Bleach but I read a bunch of the manga to get the gist of it and I have never been really interested in Dragon Ball. I appreciate it and think its cool but I preferred Yu Yu Hakusho more.

Give us Captain Falcon: Bounty Hunter.

That would be sweet, and it would work too, because Captain Falcon is already a bounty hunter. Its canon.

from the official wiki:

"Captain Falcon is a mysterious, futuristic racer from the city of Port Town. In later F-Zero games, he is also portrayed as a legendary bounty hunter whose past is shrouded in mystery."

"When he is not taking part in races, he works as a bounty hunter. By the age of 36, Captain Falcon had built a reputation as one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy, one that has earned him many enemies. "
