They do? You're not counting the 1998 godzilla zilla movie are you? Only time I remember humans beat
Nope, not counting that one. There are a number of examples I can choose from, with the most obvious of course being the Oxygen Destroyer in the original film. Then there's Mechagodzilla. Every instance of Mechagodzilla except the first one is human-made, and as a whole, Mechagodzilla tends to be Godzilla's toughest kaiju opponent.

And usually in movies where Godzilla is the only monster (and thus the clear-cut villain), he usually does end up defeated or "killed" by some kind of crazy tactic or experimental weapon. It's just almost always a pyrrhic victory after all the destruction he causes.

It's not something I would do, but it's fine for people to ask. I work in a grocery store, and although I don't work on the floor anymore, I still sometimes get asked to look. I try to give it a honest effort, but if it's something that I know is on a pallet that isn't broken down yet, there's not much that can be done.

Humans have a better track record of beating Godzilla than every other monster he's fought combined, so I don't think the ant comparison is really apt.

Godzilla's view of humanity varies movie to movie, but I don't think he ever sees them as truly insignificant.

I'm glad Sakurai is in charge because he does seem to generally have his finger on the pulse of the players, as evidenced by all his work with Super Smash Bros. I would hope he knows just how much players liked City Trial and that they'll expand on it like you said.

I still liked regular Air Ride mode, and I do think that will return too. But in addition to that and City Trial or its equivalent, I'm interested in seeing what new ideas they'll have as well.

The main problem with 2 I remember was making it so a single death in co-op meant a full reload instead of a respawn.

It's fine as a Skull option, but I hated it being mandatory.

"I stick you with a plasma, you charge, I pull back and spawn you" was one of my buddy and mine's best moves.

Well, only moves, we aren't talented people.

That's only on Legendary, and if you're playing Halo 2 on Legendary you're doing it for a major challenge.

Halo: CE is one of my favorite games of all time. Ultimately, I do like 2 and 3 more, but the first game was one of the defining games of my childhood. And it's still very fun to play now.

Porco rosso was a fun movie but I didn't really get the anthropomorphic pig gimmick at all, if anyone can shed light on that one. Like, a movie about a fighter pilot or plane delivery dude was fun enough as is, like an anime talespin. Did the pig gimmick add anything to the movie?
Him being a pig made the movie. It made Porco stand out as a character both stylistically and as far as his characterization goes. I honestly forget the details of his curse if the movie ever really even addressed it, but you could always just view it as a metaphor for his PTSD and lamentation for all the fellow pilots that he lost in WWI.

But most importantly, you wouldn't have the "Better a pig than a fascist" line.

Rise had some challenging bits in the title updates. World has Lunastra, Behemoth, and the Leshens, which are significantly tougher than anything else prior to that. So most likely Wilds will have some more challenging monsters in its title updates. I've seen many comment that Mizutsune should borrow moves from Violet Mizutsune, and I think that's not a bad idea.

Still, the extremely fast hunt times sounds rather alarming to me.

Sun boosted Overheat is so dangerous. Flannery's gym battle to this day is still one of the most well-designed gym battles they've ever made just because of that. It can be very easy if you prepare for it, or the result can be what happened to Pekora. She seemed to realize too late that Water moves are neutered under the sun. It is in HGSS at least. I actually may have been slightly wrong. He might have only become Ethan after HGSS's release. I just saw a screenshot of the Gold manual referring to him as Gold. So technically the same character in both originals and remakes, but you can probably consider either name to be the "canon" one if you wanted.

Thats still a top tier card. They are ridiculously priced at that tier. (And its still overkill, but the price difference between it and the next step down is small enough that its still the one Id get.)
Yeah I'll have to see what to pivot to I guess. MH Wilds having dogshit performance for the visual quality of the game seems to be a problem with a lot of otherwise decent GPUs unfortunately. My first time around building a PC was 7 years ago, and I went for a pretty mid build then. The PC still served all my needs well, but I'd like to get something much nicer this time around if I can.

But also, it's not obvious that Herbal Medicine is significantly better to use than Antidotes for monsters that inflict poison. There's another poison-inflicting monster in Iceborne that I see a lot of players having a tough time with, and I always assume it's because they don't know how good Herbal Medicine is.
