Winston Payne - 6.5/10

Most of his score comes from 3-1, where he's great, as well as the bonkers 3-3 intro where he appears to beat Phoenix. He's a pretty big nothing in the rest of his appearances, but that's also the point.

Cindy Stone - 2.5/10

Entirely for the Cinder Block joke.

Frank Sahwit - 5/10

He's basically the Glass Joe of the series. He's memorable for the toupee toss and not much else...until he shows back up in E2-2, where he's actually one of the most charming parts of the case.

The Judge in 2-4 thinking Phoenix wants to hire de Killer to assassinate him might be the funniest comedic bit in the series.

His value to the OT really can't be overstated. He strikes the right balance of silly and lighthearted, while also knowing when to set a serious tone. They haven't been able to capture the same magic with any other judge, except his brother. Nobody makes me laugh more consistently than the judge.

I honestly think the newer games don't use him enough. Like he's still good, but I feel like he doesn't have many memorable lines or gags, compared to the OT, where he has a ton.

I've also had this weird idea in my head where he'd be the defendant in a case and his brother would be the victim, but I don't think he'll ever be more than the judge if the series continues beyond AA6.

Perhaps the most highly regarded game ever (not necessarily the most popular, there is a distinction here). It's hard to find a publication about best games ever made that doesn't have OoT on it somewhere (and usually high on the list), and it deserves recognition for that.

I wish I could combine Minecraft and Fortnite into a single vote (Minenite or Fortcraft) because they're both worthy, but I don't want to vote for both.

I personally would definitely vote FFX Shiva specifically with a bit more priority than just Shiva. I would vote FFIV Odin with a bit more priority too.

But I'm also a very erratic saver of either one. I basically never save Odin.

But I could see some people doing that with Bahamut or others.

Well, this is also kind of my point. People aren't passionate about summons in general. I don't think it matters how you categorize them.

But yes, if you want him in as a "franchise wide net," that's what you got. Bahamut being listed under its first appearance doesn't actually change that.

I'm not 100% on that personally.

I don't think summons do well in general, but I think splitting them into specific versions won't really help them because there are people who won't want to save the FFX version, but they might save the summon because they like it in FFVIII instead.
