I think my problem with Larry in E1-5 is that he's paired with Oldbag, and the two of them together (especially in a flanderized state) are pretty annoying. It doesn't help that I think everything about the second murder is really dull, so his role is associated with that in my mind, too.

I generally like Larry. I think the only appearances of his I don't enjoy are 3-2 and E1-5 (although Edgeworth's reaction when he learns his Steel Samurai autograph came from Larry almost makes his cameo worth it).

He's great in his other OT appearances though. He injects the right amount of chaos into his antics while still being generally likable. I feel like they stopped caring about making him likable after the OT, but I still thought he was good in E2-3 and fine in 6-6 (mostly for his animations when wearing his disguise, I love the bubbles popping out of his pipe during his thinking animation in particular).

She's great and has always been great. I could do without her busting out of spirit medium costumes, but personality wise, she's awesome. Never really minded her showing up to save the day either (although the 1-5 "cameo," if you can call it that, was pointless).

I dunno, I didn't mind him. Yeah, he's pretty bland in terms of personality, but I don't think he was outright bad.

As mentioned before, "We Built This City" has been listed many times on worst songs lists.

I don't really get it either, but it certainly has the reputation of being a terrible song, so it fits the bill for this Rushmore.

I'm listening to various suggestions I'm unfamiliar with and most of them sound pretty decent.

Yeah, I'm okay with several of the songs mentioned here. Some songs became hated through how overplayed they were, so if you're just listening to them for the first time now, it wouldn't have that effect on you, of course.

I have not kept up with current anime so I have no idea what's supposed to be good out there

In other news, I watched Terminator 2 for the first time in forever. Movie still holds up, but this might be the most '90s movie ever in some ways. I kinda dig it a little more for that.

I'm a parent of a 2 year old and a 6 month old. I hear them plenty. Kids songs are meant to be kinda dumb, so it's almost against the spirit of the rule. I feel like these are meant to be mainstream release songs, not silly kids songs.

But I mean dumb kids songs could also be its own Rushmore, so I'll nominate that.
