And I think Americans would be a lot more ambivalent because "it was a cartel they should be thanking us!" kind of bullshit might land with the right.Worth noting that while a war with Mexico would have much higher support than one with Canada, Mexico would probably be the harder one to win a war against. The populations and military sizes aren't even close. Then again, if Trump starts a war with either of them he probably opens with nuclear strikes on all major cities. It's great in the context of the original series, but extrapolating further into the future leads to a world where bending just matters less.
