Ahh yes, disproportionate influence on messaging and policy. That's why we have universal healthcare on the ballot. And bringing out Progressive Liz Cheney was obviously a mistake. And we can't keep getting money from small donors. We need to bring in the billionaires. That's who's voice matters. Definitely going to bring us closer to working class America by taking money from billionaires instead of small donors.

The good news is, this probably won't take over the Democratic party because they're weak and feckless. But if they do, I might seriously consider voting for Jill Stein, even if she is a Russian shill.

Hey, that part's actually true. The far-left has no actual power whatsoever, but their messaging and ideas are strongly associated with mainstream Democrats. Granted, this is largely because the Democrats try their best to come off as soulless robots who have never interacted with real humans before and have no political opinions at all, leaving them with no actual message of their own. But surely it's everyone else's fault that it doesn't work.

I don't think any wing of the Democratic party, be it center or as far left as you can get understands political messaging at all.

It is actually a complicated problem to solve unless you are willing to give up a lot of morality.

I think some Dems are pretty good with messaging. But then the party steps in and fucks it up, and on top of that we don't really have a media outlet that is TRULY left-wing.

We need more than just individuals that have good messaging. It has to be a good concerted group effort and every wing of the Democratic party sucks at it as a whole.

The Democrats should be focusing on trying to win those special elections in New York and Florida. Them getting the House back would at least be able to slow down Project 2025.

Democrats need to focus on a national platform. We are in an age where word of mouth can have tremendous influence. Voters outside of swing states may not matter electorally but keeping them engaged is important to creating the echo chambers that bring free engagement when it matters.

Still need to engage with the individual races of course but Dems have just been content to let red territory get redder and it isn't paying off.

Police being trained to kill first and justify it later, and having been widely infiltrated by white supremacists, are both facts though. That doesn't make it "every cop" but it's a pretty good reason to distrust police as an organization, no brain rot needed.

Police unions are government sanctioned gangs, and unless they have them on camera murdering someone, the worst that will ever happen to them is that they will be moved one county over.

Of course not every single cop is bad, but they are structured in a way to encourage bad behavior.

This week we were given 15 minutes for "what did you do last week part 2".

This was fine because in addition to copy and pasting last e-mail I included a short forward to explain that I do the same shit every week so obviously my accomplishments are going to be the same.

But it just baffles me that they think that getting 2~ million people to spend time each week on this bullshit is somehow leading to more efficiency. I suppose I'll just appreciate the 15 minutes on mondays I'm going to get from now on where I get to take a break from answering phone calls, but there is certainly no good reason for it. Well other then to make employees unhappy that is.

I also received an email today reminding me, among other various updates, that the first Friday in March is "employee appreciation day" at the IRS.
I feel so appreciated -_-
