I disagree peafs role would justify scum being only 3. We didn't have an extra death last night so in theory sk is out. We can't rule out recruitment. As of now I'd stick with 3 scum left.

Think Death is a misdirection. Doubt he is so on the nose on the flavor differences if scum.

Point is Blade is choosing to use posts he is actually making to attack supposed null read policy lynches instead of pursuing avenues of finding scum. It's lazy but gives the idea he is actively participating.

The only pushing blade has done all game is trying to "policy lynch" self-proclaimed null reads.

I'd say that's telling as scum, if he didn't as town last game try to actively lynch a person he self-proclaimed was 90% town.

This game pretty much has to have 4 scum unless it has something like a Ross Cult Recruiter who can choose up to 3 wives or a sk or some shit. But even with a culture recruiter and a sk you still kinda have to have 4 scum unless scum is ridiculously powered.

3 is below the threshold. 5 is above it. 3 + survivor doesn't really work either.

It's supposed to be role madness though so I guess we will find out. A swingy description does kinda led credence to a sk though.

Your question should be why we should trust in a heavily weighted dice roll on D1? Oh, and why it's worth it to force claim 2-3 town along the way? Why aren't you worried about these things, which put town in a terrible position D2 nearly every single time?

You fucking don't lol. Unless there's something that obviously reveals someone as scum, it's not worth the 75% chance to mislynch D1. Town gets exponentially more powerful the more days there are, and chance to mislynch exponentially drops. Scum only gets linearly more powerful, so they are the ones with the time pressure. Even if there's an SK, the biggest time pressure is against scum.

I get why Corrik shuts up during D1 if this needs to explained every time.

There is mathematically way less of a chance of hitting town day 1 than this. With 13 and 25-33% scum, you can eliminate yourself from being scum if town. Which already makes the odds higher. Usually you can pressure a response to at least reasonably find one or two people likely to be town. And thus, you are basically at 50/50 almost. It's less worse to lynch and get information, even if wrong, generally. But, hey.

No. There can be 2 or 3 millers and there can always be justification to fake claim it as town as well. So it's safe for either alignment to fake it.

I was content to leave it at "flavor meta bad" and move on. I'm not the one that brought this into the limelight as a major topic.

Honestly the best case scenario for my post would have been maybe getting a town vibe from someone asking me about what made it clever because they didn't read the intro post, rather than actually making any kind of determination about IGCD. But no one followed up on the conversation other than Blade saying flavor meta bad.

The point is would scum have a Miller fake claim ready to go without first deliberating as a team whether it's something they wanted to risk. Being a small game, having someone blind claim Miller and have town potentially 1 for 1 you would be super risky on a scum team, no? Not necessarily something you do off the cuff. So if they didn't know the flavor split until the game actually opened, and then made that decision quickly and committed to it, it would be kinda ballsy! Which is where my later comment about me thinking IGCD is not the type to deliberate on a scum board before making that play holds at least a little actual merit to me, outside of just baseless flavor/role meta.

Zero risk to fake claim miller as either alignment.
