Yeah, I get it. But again, it sucks lol. It's a pain in the ass to navigate through like 11 statements, skimming to see where you might want to try challenging a statement with your 5+ different truth bullets loaded. It doesn't give you time to really think about it unless you open the truth bullets menu up, and even then, the game frequently doesn't make it clear what specifically it wants you to present at a given weak point, even if you have the general idea of what the solution is.
And even then when you finally solve it, God forbid you miss the weak point with your bullet, welp, hold in that B button and wait another 30 seconds for your next chance. Hell, they didn't even give you the chance to move your reticle and fire again immediately until DR2 if you miss a statement.

Like I said, I love Danganronpa, but let's not pretend the gameplay is good. At least Hangman's Gambit does what it's supposed to do cleanly and effectively.

It does tend to lean more heavily right wing than some other nerdy hobbies. They take the over the top somewhat satirical violence too seriously at times.

The first one isn't really an action movie, so if you expect one it probably feels jarring.

That was literally after this conversation started. I already made my points that I have been saying before that point, and they were only dismissed by you. You were putting words in my mouth and insulting me for saying things I didn't. I never said getting laid is impossible for virgins. I was upset you were underplaying the issues sone virgins face and telling me that I wanted to remain hopeless.

It seems the entire misunderstanding came from when I said "If someone can get laid on tinder they wouldn't be a virgin in the first place."

You took that as something I meant as a 100% literal statement of fact. I very quickly said that I didn't mean it that way. It is literally possible for anyone to get laid on tinder under certain circumstances. But that doesn't make it the simple solution that was implied.

I meant if it were a very easy solution for every virgin around, then the issue would have already resolved itself and they wouldn't be virgins anymore. Someone still being a virgin despite trying these things implies it isn't as simple an issue as was being suggested.

The only point I have been trying to make is that it isn't helpful to suggest things to virgins such as just trying on tinder. That is a simple and obvious solution that is very easy to come to any virgin within a few minutes of thinking over their problem. Stating such obvious things are not helpful. Which is why I made comparisons to other problems some people have difficulty with. People who live with such problems almost always know the direct solution. That has been the only point I have tried to make.
I am not trying to say it is hopeless to try. I never said there us no point in trying. But you kept telling me that I said it was impossible, hopeless, and if you're a virgin by a certain age you can never learn. I never implied that at all.

But saying just go on tinder, talk to girls, and then get laid really boils down to just get laid. It is completely obvious the normal steps people take to getting laid, so I assumed no one was dumb enough to not understand that.

Just telling someone having trouble with something to just practice isn't even slightly helpful. Literally everyone knows that already. It is in fact like telling a depressed person to stop being sad. Depressed people already know the steps they SHOULD take to change their situation. People with eating disorders already know what they SHOULD do to fix it. Knowing what the solution is doesn't make it less hard to enact it.

People dealing with these problems for long periods of time already have thought about it so long it is painful. Just re stating the very first idea anyone has when they think about the problem is extremely tedious and patronizing. I know I need to work on socializing more. Every second of every day I know about it, and am constantly thinking about it. So when some random person comes and just acts like they are giving some special gift with the revelation that the way to deal with a problem is to work on, it feels very bad. I know. I understand. I try. I have been dealing with my problems for a long time and I try to get better with them. But it is still hard. It is still painful.

If you want to help with a problem you don't have, sympathy is the best way to do it. If you don't deal with depression yourself, telling a depressed person what to do really sounds like a well off person telling poor people to just stop buying Starbucks if you want to have more money.

That barely helps. I still would have to travel somewhere, and once I get there, leave my car. And then walk inside. And even if I only interacted with the one sex worker I wouldn't be able to talk or move at all if we were in the same room. I would have a frozen panic attack at every step. Even imagining it right now makes me freeze up.

TBH having sex with a prostitute sounds just as impossible as having sex in general. I guess it would be technically easier because they would probably not say no. But my anxiety would be just as bad trying to hire a sex worker as trying to hit on a girl.

Okay cool. I got an urge to play it for the first time myself after watching Game Grumps play it. Mostly so I can see more of the character interactions during free time. Plus apparently after you beat it you unlock a version where the killing game never starts and you can do dating sim stuff even with the characters who die. There is a certain character I love who dies and getting more of them would be awesome.
And I have never had gamepass so i can get the $0.99 trial to see if it is worth playing through on my own. I am not sure if I wanna get the switch bundle after instead of each on pc seperately though.

Im not sure how people retiring pushes the antiwork movement back. If anything it pushes it forward. A mass retirement sounds pretty close to a strike, which only gives workers more power as employers realize that they can't survive without the workers they want to treat like trash.
