The woman told detectives around 9:30 a.m. she was startled by Tullier standing in her bathroom doorway wearing a ski mask and holding a knife. The woman then goes on to say Tullier forced the victim to drink alcohol before raping her.
According to the victim Tullier eventually passed out and she was able to escape and call 911.
Once authorities arrived on the scene they found Tullier passed out in the victims bed and was taken into custody.
Allegedly detectives found clothing and shoes they say ties Tullier to the crime. Investigators say it appears that he approached the house by way of a wooded area at the edge of the property.
According to the report, Tullier and the victim did not know each other.
Tullier has been booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for first-degree rape and home invasion.

I know the registry is soooo evil and harsh and this guy probably just needs a hug and a new friendly name for his condition instead of going on the big bad list, but I can't help feel sorry for the actual victim here.

Eh, several experts on here say punishing them is bad. Not sure how it would help their victims and potential victims but the concensus is that we're wrong to despise and punish them.

Prosecutors said Clark, 61, was a member of a landscaping crew that had stained Fairmans back deck shortly before her death. She was unhappy with the work, which she thought had been sloppy, and had the crew return to redo the project.
Authorities identified Clarkwho had a lengthy criminal recordas a possible suspect in the slaying after finding a bandana he left behind in the bathroom. His DNA was also found inside her and on the handle of a knife and glove left at the scene.
Investigators also found an iPhone cord that had been cut and left in the sink.
Prosecutors believe that Clark held Fairman at knife point, then bound, raped and strangled her to death.
She was discovered fully clothed, with her pants on inside out, in the bathtub of her home with the water running, according to the local paper.
Her son Scott took the stand during the trial to describe the final text message he had received from his mom, who he said he spoke to every day through phone or text messages.
She sent him a message at 6:46 p.m. on May 8, writing Thats cool in reference to a photo he had sent her of the setting sun from the Space Needle during a trip to Seattle, Washington.
According to Scott, his later texts would go unanswered.
After testifying, Scott remained in the court room throughout the trial, including during graphic testimony about his moms final moments. He told local station WTVR he chose to stay in the courtroom because he wanted to understand what his mother had gone through.
Because I have gone the last two-and-a-half years with vague detail and because she was my mother and my best friend, he said. I just, I had to know. It was just something personal that I felt I needed to hear.
While prosecutors argued that the evidence showed Clark could be the only person who carried out the crime, his defense attorney had argued that his cell phone data never showed him at her home on the night of May 8, according to local station WWBT.
Clark has a lengthy history of violence. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison in 1988 for forcibly raping a woman in Alexandria, the local paper reports. He also pleaded guilty in 2005 to attempted robbery and received a 10-year sentence.

my view is skewed on this, having worked alongside LEOs in public protection. predators will to great lengths to gain access to their targets, it would suprise/scare most lay people to know how tenacious and clever some pedophiles are.

i'll throw in something about OCD here, particularly w/re to intrusive thoughts; some OCD sufferers get severe thoughts/images about harm to others - stabbing, strangling, shooting, sexual assault and CSA. they find these thoughts abhorrent and distressing, and when they present to services are often overly risk-assessed and sometimes stigmatised.

in psychiatric jargon these thoughts are called egodystonic, the person experiencing them is appalled. contrast that with pedophilia, where the thoughts and fantasies are actively welcomed.

so i am conflicted about the existence of 'virtuous pedophiles' and can't help wondering about the crossover with OCD, as well as historical attempts by predators over the last 50 years to change the label attached to them.

There is no proof in existence at all that pedophiles regret their thoughts or actions, and most tend to repeat offend until their sex drive disappears or they die.

Try and save up about $3K or close and get a good high end pre-built or buy from Reddit's HW swap or CL. Of course for those options carefully vet the listing.

Should be fine. How much are you trying to spend btw? Given overpriced GPU's at the momment, your best bet is a prebuilt(ugh, usually i would never say this).

I assume you mean Ryzen / GeForce. Yeah they work fine. In fact, it's kinda surprising there's not more synergy between Ryzen/Radeon.

There is. SAM(AMD's cheesy rename of resizable BAR) works better with an all AMD setup. Using intel or nvidia piece is either not as good or even has negative scaling in most games. Maybe that'll change in the future but AMD planned for the feature and worked with just about every developer on it, Nvidia/intel enabled it in haste so as not to lack any bullet points on powerpoint slides and it doesn't usualy work well at all.

Well yeah but that's because I'm not going to assume a pedophile is an exception to the rule. If someone truly is a "virtuous" pedophile they should have no problem staying silent about it. If you feel a need to tell other people about it that's a sign that you're not so virtuous and you're planning to hurt someone, either that or you want to rub it in people's faces.

So called "virtuous pedophles" want the safeguards(little as they are) for kids to be dismissed so they're not inconvenienced from daily life. Except, IF they never harm a child they will live a completely normal life. All the destigamtization movement does is push for removing punishment and also sadly push for reclassification of victims in order to make it seem "not so bad". Observe several users on this message board always splitting hairs over child, adolescent, hebophile, whateverelseophile, etc.

Discounted sentence from fellow racists. NY state has plenty of vicious racial hatred against virtually all non-whites once you leave NYC or Nassau County. and I mean open Arkansas type, often violent hatred. I'm certain his judge and jury were quite sympathetic.

The father spoke about the heart-wrenching condition of his daughter immediately after the attack, saying that surgeons weren't sure if she would ever be able to see again. Her mother described McCallion as pure evil
The girl was walking to visit family in March 2020 at the North Highland Avenue apartment complex in Ossining when McCallion beat her, yelling racial slurs during the attack. The victim was a stranger to him at the time.

He pleaded guilty to 14 felony charges, including attempted murder as a hate crime.
"I sincerely apologize for the events that happened that day. There's no excuse for it. I was mentally unstable and off my mental medication, but that's still no excuse," McCallion said in court. "There's nothing I can say that is going to take what happened back that day."

McCallion was arrested after he was found in the parking lot of the apartment complex with blood on his hands and clothes. The knife he used to stab the victim was also found at the scene.

After his arrest, police found assault weapons as well as Nazi and white supremacist paraphernalia in his home, including a knife with a swastika on it and a Confederate flag. Two days after his arrest, McCallion also attacked a nurse practitioner who was there to treat him in the hospital, fracturing her nose.

Problem is, there's no reliable way to predict whether or not these people will hurt a child until they actually do it. Nobody is a criminal until they commit a crime, but some people have the potential to commit worse crimes than others. Even just confessing to an attraction to minors should get a person put on a list.

Agreed. The problem with acceptance and anti-stigma folks is they want no list at all. They want to frame these people as a marginalized group and want them to not be restricted from things like working at an elementary school. They even try to frame perception such that 13 year olds aren't children. That particular argument was had here just a few days ago.

The guys who are now stalking me on this board can't answer what's the difference to sexual assault severity if we all of a sudden stop considering 13-14 year olds children. But they know, they just won't answer. You remove the classification of the victim, you then can move on to decriminalizing the actual crime.

This bullshit needs to stop, yes they do need to be stigmatized and yes they are terrible people who need to be outcasts. The day you normalize a pedo is the day all children know adults are NOT looking out for them.

Pedophiles are a minority and need to stay that way, they HARM children which is not acceptable and never should be.

MAPS is only a way for pedos to fly under the radar and that shit needs to be stopped to, we need to know who they are so we can keep children safe.

Got modded a few years ago when I pointed out that the next frontier for this group was MAP(minor attracted persons) and normmalizing being attracted to children?
